Taylor Swift spent Thanksgiving on the beach, but don’t be jealous because it was on the North East. In others words, she was freezing, but not to cold to do the Mannequin Challenge with some of her friends like Todrick Hall.
Then when they were done posing as stiffs, they broke down and danced. Swift is not so swift at dancing because she reminded me of a toddler who is doing the poop dance. Doesn’t it look that way?
Todrick Hall has taken the track lists of Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Nicki Minaj and Rhianna to create one epic song of their catalogues and now he is doing the same for Britney Spears. He took several of her tunes to tell the story of Beauty and the Beast and it is far from being a Beast. In fact, I can’t remember any other time that her music was such a Beauty as it is here. So Be Our Guest and watch this 7 minute tribute to the ’90s biggest Pop star from, to me, my biggest musical star of the last decade.
Seriously, why isn’t this guy taking home more awards because I sincerely think he is the most talented musician of today.
Todrick Hall has done some of the best mashups with Disney songs, Katy Perry tunes and Lady Gaga monster hits and now he is doing that for TV Theme songs. He recruited Frankie Grande to give some of the most popular catchy television show opening tunes like The Flintstones, Full House, Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, All That, Family Guy, Saved By the Bell, The Jeffersons, Sesame Street, Friends and many more a new life as one amazing melody you will not get out of your head any time soon. Just like the songs when they aren’t part of this mashup!
I really hope that TV producers see this video, and think we need to create more TV Theme Songs because I really miss them. Don’t you?
Todrick Hall has added his own flair to several of today’s top hits and now he has taken on Adele’s When We Were Young. If you going to attempt to do one of her songs, then you can’t do it alone. He asked Apolo Link to join him and the four of them did an A capella version of her latest single that would make her proud.
I’ve said it before and I will continue to say it, Todrick Hall is one of the most brilliant artists out there today. His latest masterpiece is telling the classic Peter Pan tale with the music of Katy Perry, but with his own little twist.
I am glad he never grew up, never grew up, never grew up, not him.
So sit back and watch the best version of Peter Pan I’ve ever seen.
