Julie Gonzalo Tweeeted some photos of her castmates hard at work on the second season of Dallas and I am not sure that Patrick Duffy, Linda Gray, Josh Henderson, Jordana Brewster and Jesse Metcalfe will be happy with her sharing them, even though I love the behind the scenes look. At least she shared a picture of herself using her fake baby bump as a table. I want one of those to use a laptop table because it looks comfortable.
BTW I so can’t wait for Dallas to come back to TNT on January 28th!
Today is the first day that the cast and crew were back at work on the set of Dallas after Larry Hagman passed away on Friday, and yesterday they got together to remember their patriarch. Julie Gonzalo, who plays the daughter of JR Ewing’s biggest enemy Cliff Barnes, Tweeted the above photo and said “A special gathering of some of the cast and crew in honor of Mr. Larry Hagman and his beloved ‘Dallas’ backdrop. ⤔ You can tell in that photo that they remember the TV icon with both laughs and tears, just like we all are.
On Sunday Southfork Ranch will open its doors to the public to mourn Larry Hagman’s death. From 2-4p they will be giving free tours of the ranch and a memorial reception will follow, during which guests may leave cards, flowers, sign his memorial book and pay their respects to him. So if you are in the Dallas area, you can go there this weekend and say goodbye to him at one of his favorite places.
And on January 28th Dallas returns to TNT for its second season with Larry Hagman playing his most notorious role, JR Ewing, in a few of the episodes.
Have you ever watched American Idol, The Voice or The X Factor and felt that the karaoke singers were torturing you with their singing and you wish that they could feel the pain you were feeling? Well with TruTV’s Killer Karaoke that debuts tonight at 9p that is exactly what is going to happen! Six singers in 3 groups of two will compete against each other and the 3 winners of each group will duel it out for a possible $10,000 prize. Sounds boring, did I mention that Steve-O hosts the show so that means these competitors will be feeling pain and fright like they have never felt or experienced before.
For example in the series premiere one contestant will sing while she is being dropped into a pool of freezing water with live snakes swimming around. Another guy will be waxed all over his body as he hit the high notes and boy does he hit them. One guy will be shocked as he serves food to the host and Steve-O loves pressing the button over and over and over again.
Then once the audience says who were the best three for the night, they will sing on a rotating circle that will move faster and faster, and the longer they stay on the more money they will win.
So if you are a huge sadist like me and love to see people in lots of pain, then you are going to adore this show. Or if you are sick on signing competitions, then you will feel better watching this show picturing it is Sanjaya Malakar up there finally getting what has been coming to him for years! What else are you doing on Friday nights? This is more fun than anything else you are thinking of doing.
Tonight at 10p Megan Fox joins her baby daddy Brian Austin Green on TBS’s Wedding Band and we get an episode that everyone can enjoy!
When Mother of the Bride play a wedding at Comic-Con, the most popular actress at the convention falls for Tommy (Green). Where ever Alexa Jordan (Megan Fox) goes, Sci-Fi geeks are sure to follow. Two of those geeks aka teenage boys make Tommy an offer he can’t refuse. They ask him to play their party, so that the band can make them popular. Tommy refuses, but the band insists he does the gig and we get an episode that every high school nerd dreams of. This one hour episode is the best teen geek movie since Weird Science, so take that ’90s wannabes.
A big reason why this episode is so brilliant is because of Fox and recently on a conference call her husband explained how she got the job. The Transformers beauty was not the first or second or third choice for the role. When the other actresses who were up for it were not able to do it, desperate measures were take. Green explained, “I had already spoken to my wife about the episode and kind of what was going on and she graciously said that, you know, if nothing else worked out that she would step in and kind of rescue us and she did. And I thought she was great. I thought she kicked ass.” That she totally does. The best part is you get to see the two of them bed together, so in a way you get a glimpse of how their son was made!
