Even though Linda Hogan is no longer getting married, she still opted to appear on TLC’s Brides of Beverly Hills. Maybe it is me but if my engagement was called off, the last thing I would want to do is try on wedding dresses. Especially doing so on a TV show, but like I said that is just me.
Last week Screen Junkies asked Christopher Walken to read some lines from Here Comes Honey Boo Boo and this week Hal Rudnick asked Mama June and Alana to read some of his classic words. Let just say it is totally awesome, so sit back and enjoy. I mean where else can these two worlds collide, not once but twice!
BTW I think that Screen Junkies missed a big opportunity by not have Mama and Honey Boo Boo read something from Gigli. He said something awesome in that movie, I just blocked it out like I did the movie.
Honey Boo Boo and Mama June were guests on Jimmy Kimmel Live yesterday and it was just as wild as their TLC show. Poor Alana had flown in from Georgia and was not used to three hour time difference, and the 7 year old spit fire spent the whole day (and I mean from the early morning until late at night for her) doing press. So by the time she got to do Kimmel she was tired and cranky like any kid would be in her situation. That turned out to be a good thing because she was a riot on the show. I was sitting in the green room watching the show tape (because yes I had to be there to see them in person) and we were all in shock by something Toddlers & Tiaras most famous pageant girl did. As Jimmy was talking to Mama June, Honey Boo Boo discovered how to do the Vulcan Salute. She then brought her hand towards her mouth and her mother told her to blow a kiss, and she did. Not being satisfied with that she then brought her fingers that were shaped like the letter V up to lips and blew kisses between her middle fingers. Since she is such an innocent little girl, she didn’t realize why everyone started laughing. Since she is so young I won’t tell her she gave us all the universal sign for cunnilingus. Mama June realized what she was doing and tried to stop her. But luckily for us it was too late.
That was not the only highlight from the interview, there were many more. Like Mama June admits that she doesn’t watch The Kardashians. Alana endorsed Barack Obama for President after what Kimmel let her know what Mitt Romney said about her.
The biggest highlight for me is just how smart Mama June really is and unlike another reality show mom, she actually puts her kids’ welfare ahead of greed. It sounds like her kids won’t be spoiled with all of their reality show earnings. They will have to use it to for it their futures and not for weddings that won’t last 73 days. Just saying she really impressed me! And Honey Boo Boo was just as precious as ever! Gotta love them!
Toddlers & Tiaras has gone to Vegas and you know what that means, we get a female impersonator judging the competition. I don’t know why that doesn’t happen more often on the TLC show because if you think about the toddlers are basically Drag Queens. They put on dresses they would never ever wear in their daily lives. They wear more makeup than the average woman who is going out on a first date. Plus they strut around and put on a show for an audience. So basically these little girls are Drag Queens without one thing. So again I ask why doesn’t this happen all the time???
Whether you want to admit or not, you totally checked out Here Comes Honey Boo Boo last night on TLC and you are not alone. Not only did you and I watch it, but so did a little boy who wrote a song called “I Love Honey Boo Boo”. That song just became our new anthem!
BTW I hope TLC hooks them up because I can’t wait to see their love unfold on the network. You know cause I doubt she will be leaving our TV’s anytime soon.
