For 7 seasons, Jack McGee played a fire chief on Rescue Me. On Tuesday, he played George, a guy who gave the Pearsons a Crock-Pot Slow Cooker that lead to the fire that killed Jack on This Is Us. Within seconds of that reveal, he became one of the most hated men in the United States. Yesterday, he responded to his new status on Twitter with three very funny Tweets. First he Tweeted, “Just found out my approval rating , thanks to ‘ This is Us ‘ is lower then the shithole !!” Then he followed it up with, “I’m gonna have to build a wall… what a Crock !!!” And finally he said, “#thisisus I guess my approval rating as ‘George’ is lower then the crock pot in the whitehouse… Mueller wants to see me!”
Talking about the Crock-Pot Slow Cooker, the company was bombarded with several hate comments on their Facebook Community Page and responded with humor and reassurance their product is safe.
Crock-Pot Slow Cooker took so much heat (not sure if the pun was intended) that This Is Us’ creator Dan Fogelman pleading with the fans of the drama to cool down. He said, “Taking a moment to remind everyone that it was a 20 year old fictional crockpot with an already funky switch? Let’s not just lump all those lovely hardworking crockpots together. #ThisIsUs.” As of now, he has not said anything to defend McGee, who is the most hated character on TV since we found out Miguel is now married to his best friend’s wife.
Don’t forget to mark your calendars for February 4th to see the This Is Us episode that reveals all about Jack’s death.

Is the Super Bowl This Is Us episode, the one where Jack dies? |
January 23rd, 2018 under Super Bowl, This Is Us. [ Comments: none ]

For all the men that are sad that their team did not make the Super Bowl this year, the women in their life will be even more depressed as they watch the This Is Us episode that will air following the game on February 4th. That is because NBC released a promo today for that ep and it looks like it is the one where we finally find out how Jack died.
Even since we found that Jack did not see his Big Three go off to college or anything after that, we have wanted to know what happened. We speculated. Came up with the theories. Then we got a glimpse of what happened in the season 2 premiere. And now it looks like that moment is finally coming.
No matter how bad Justin Timberlake is during the half time show. No matter who wins the big football game. All anyone will be talking about the next day is how Jack died.
Therefore, do not serve things like Buffalo wings and nachos because you are going to need the extra napkins for when you run out of tissues. And you will. Thus, you need to stock up on tissues, toilet paper, paper towels and napkins because we are going to through all of that just like it was growing on trees. Oh wait!
Anyways, how are you mentally preparing for this climatic episode? Which most likely will be the best post-Super Bowl show since the Grey’s Anatomy one. Wasn’t that episode an explosive episode.
Finally, do not believe me on the tears? This is the The This Is Us cast watching tonight’s episode and Jack was still alive in it. Look at Mandy Moore, Milo Ventimilgia and Sterling K Brown’s faces because that says it all. Thank you Dan Fogelman for breaking our hearts and making us cry every Tuesday and one special Sunday. Not! You owe me money for all the cash I spend on tissues every month, and it ain’t for my allergies.

You are going to need therapy after tonight’s This Is Us |

After what seems like forever, This Is Us is finally back on NBC tonight at 9p. The episode starts off a few week’s after the midseason finale and everyone is going to visit Kevin (Justin Hartley) in rehab. Something he was sentenced to after he was busted for DUI with his young niece in the car.
Beth (Susan Kelechi Watson) doesn’t want to go because she is still pissed at him, but Randall (Sterling K Brown) convinces her. Toby (Chris Sullivan) feels the same way, especially since he finds out something about Kate (Chrissy Metz) that he wants to talk to her about before they get there.
Finally, when they get to this ritzy rehab, the therapist tells them that she thinks for the first session only the immediate family should go in. While Randall, Kate and Rebecca (Mandy Moore) go with Kevin; Beth, Toby and Miguel (Jon Huertas) go to bar.
Now that Kevin is alone with siblings and his mom, it is time for him to express why he finds himself in this situation. We will learn more about his past and realize why he is there. As he talks to his family, he gets brutally honest with them. Maybe too honest. Will this cause a division between the big three?
What about the other three? As in the lovers. They are at the bar bonding and drinking makes that easier. As they bond, we learn like what it is like to share a bed with a Pearson. While their partners are in therapy, they are having their own a support group.
We also go back to the preteen Pearsons on vacation. Not only do we get a better insight on Kevin, but also the relationship that Kate has with both of her parents and how they see her.
Like I said in the headline, we are going to need therapy after this intense episode. So intense, I don’t know if I need to hug them or if they need to hug me.

This Is Us’ The Big Three are reunited! |
December 7th, 2017 under Sterling K. Brown, This Is Us. [ Comments: none ]

We are less than a month away from the Spring season premiere of This Is Us and NBC released a little teaser photo. We are going to finally see The Big Three together again, for the first time in a long time. I cannot even remember the last time we saw Kevin (Justin Hartley), Kate (Chrissy Metz) and Randall (Sterling K Brown) all in the same shot. Can you?
It is even more of a present because for the last three episodes each one of them had a standalone, now it is time for them to stand as one.
How happy are you to see the Pearson triplets share a tender moment? To see it play it out, mark you calendars for January 2nd for the return of 2017’s most talked about show.

A tale of two CW Arrows |
December 4th, 2017 under DC Comics, This Is Us. [ Comments: none ]

Back in 2006, Justin Hartley started playing The Green Arrow on Smallville, and when the show ended in 2011 so did him playing that superhero. A year later, The CW brought Arrow back but with Stephen Amell as the lead.
Ever since fans of both shows wanted to see the two of them of together, and five years later it finally happened. The new Oliver McQueen shared a photo of him with the older one and said, “You guys should see the deleted scene from #CrisisOnEarthX.” If only we got to see the This Is Us star on the 4-part DC Comics crossover, it would have done even better in the ratings and it did pretty super.
So why did they get together for this photo? We don’t know, but do we really care because it is just so awesome to see the two Green Arrows together at last.
