Which Voice co-mentor does Black Shelton want to be his Honey Bee?
March 12th, 2012 under Blake Shelton, The Voice. [ Comments: none ]

Black Shelton was being interviewed by MTV and he admitted that he has a man crush on his Voice co-mentor Adam Levine. He told the reporter, “All I have to say is, it’s true: I have a man crush on Adam.” Then he added, “It blows me away people can pick up on that just by watching that on television. I want to kiss him. I want to kiss him so bad. I don’t care if it’s mutual or not. Can you honestly tell me that you don’t have a little bit of a crush on Adam? He’s sexy, is the word I’m using.” Is wrong that I want to see them kiss on the show? Because I have to admit I have already had that dream of the two of them doing their moves like Jagger in my dreams. And you know that Cee Lo Green is feeling it the same way I am?

Miranda Lambert Tweeted a picture of her husband Blake Shelton and said, “Here u go!:) hot!” Hot is too cool of a temperature to describe that picture of her Honey Bee because he is steaming up my computer screen. I don’t know about you but he just gave this girl a Hillbilly Bone.
Just when I thought I couldn’t love The Voice coach any more, I see a photo like that of The Dreamer and I know I will be dreaming about him tonight.

Five reasons to watch season 2 of The Voice
February 5th, 2012 under The Voice. [ Comments: none ]

The Voice is back for it second season tonight after the Super Bowl and this season is even better than last year’s groundbreaking first one. A few weeks ago the four coaches and the host spoke to the press at NBC’s TCA Winter Press Tour Day and they each gave a reason why you should watch the Monday night singing competition show.

Christina Aguilera – Yeah. Absolutely. I think that all of us do. All four of us do. You can’t help but get really engaged in being a part of these people’s lives as their coach and their mentor and spending so much time with them. I mean, I think there’s something to be said about the fact that their whole lives — it’s a pretty magical thing to be a part of someone’s whole journey. You know, these are real artists. These are real people with real dreams, and it’s — you’re cradling it in your hands, and so I think we all sort of pulled a level of responsibility for that and take it very seriously.

Carson Daly
– Let me just say one thing about that before you guys start, just because I was so early on season two with the talent that came through, and my observation quickly was that season one hit the air, and people aspiring to be in this space didn’t really know what to make of “The Voice,” where it sat with the other music competition shows, thought they knew. Didn’t want to sit in the cattle call. But what happened, the level of talent season one was so high that it’s appeared that we went in early for season two, that working musicians, people — things that you’ve done, the van hit the roads, working the gigs, maybe sign a small label. People who really want to make it, who never would have stood in line for any other show, came out and sought us out for season two. So the level potentially of talent for season two — whatever you thought of season one, this is way, way, way higher than that.

Cee Lo Green – Hi. My name is Cee Lo Green. I’m very happy to be here.

Adam Levine – Yeah. And all four of us are singers. At the end of the day, that’s probably the thing that’s most — that differentiates us the most is that we all sing. It’s our craft, all four of us. That alone is a unique element.

Blake Shelton – I don’t think you have to tell somebody that they suck when you know exactly what was wrong with the performance. When you can actually pinpoint whatever that thing is, you don’t have to go, “That’s terrible. That sucked.” You can go, “Here you were pitchy, and here’s why, because maybe you sang this song in the wrong key,” or — you don’t have do go, “I don’t really know why you suck.”
.
And I will give you a sixth reason to watch The Voice, it is the best singing competition show on television by far. The voices on this show blow all the other ones away.

Adam Levine and Blake Shelton basically agree Christina Aguilera is a diva!
February 3rd, 2012 under Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, The Voice. [ Comments: none ]

Three of The Voice coaches are on Ellen today and they played a game of Guesstures. It was the girls, Ellen DeGeneres and Christina Aguilera, vs the boys, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton. Both teams had to have their partners guess the musical words they were acting out. When the Maroon 5 singer got diva, he pointed to Xtina and Blake at first said her name and then said “diva”. As soon as she realized what he did she chased Levine around the set and said “not fair”. I think it was and it was very funny. But not as funny as when the only female coach had to act out HEAVY Metal.
Who else besides me can’t wait for The Voice to be back this Sunday after Super Bowl? I love this show.
