Today is the 27th season premiere of The View, and the daytime talk show debuted its new set. But there was something missing. Or should I say someone because Whoopi Goldberg wasn’t sitting at their new table?
Where was the EGOT winner? She is home fighting COVID-19. According to Joy Behar, who was sitting in her seat, she is on the tail end of the virus and should be back hosting later this week.
Hopefully, she won’t suffer any long-term effects from the coronavirus.
COVID-19 is back. So please wear a mask and get a booster shot if need be.
The View is on hiatus between seasons, and some people thought the show was cancelled.
Today, ABC posted a video previewing the upcoming season that starts on September 5th. So they confirmed that the #1 talk show in households for three consecutive years is returning to our television sets.
But will they be changing the hosts? The commercial features Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, Sara Haines, Alyssa Farah Griffin, and Ana Navarro, but Whoopi Goldberg is missing. So is the Oscar winner being replaced as the moderator? Hell no! She was just letting the other girls shine in the spotlight.
When it comes to the hosts, I wish they weren’t bring back Sunny Hostin; I think she is the new Meghan McCain. Am I the only one who feels that way?
The ladies on The View were talking about whether or not it is rude to take a selfie at a concert like the women did at the Miranda Lambert show over the weekend.
Whoopi Goldberg said it was wrong, while Sunny Hostin was all for it. As were the other ladies.
The Oscar winner got so frustrated with her co-hosts that she got up and walked away from the table. Not because she was upset. She wanted to prove a point.
What was it? She walked over to the audience to take a selfie with a 91-year-old who came to watch the talk show.
She proved her point because Hostin, Sarah Haines, Joy Behar, and Alyssa Farah Griffin weren’t that happy that she just walked away from their conversation. See, it is not fun when someone takes a selfie in the middle of what you are doing.
It is easy to say you don’t like something when it is not happening to you. But when it does, you have a whole new outlook on things.
Whoopi Goldberg was explaining to the audience on The View yesterday why they are still doing the talk show while there is a strike going on with the Screen Actors Guild. As she was talking, Sarah Haines’ phone went off.
The look of disgust on Whoopi’s face said it all. And that is why an embarrassed Haines didn’t dare pick up her mobile.
So who was calling? It was her front door. I feel bad for the poor Amazon driver who was just trying to deliver a package. He didn’t know whose doorbell he was ringing.
Before Taylor Swift was starring in her music videos, she was a background dancer in Brad Paisley’s Online. Even at 17, she knew how to work the camera in that 2007 music video.
