Anthony Anderson likes to steal every scene he is in and turns out he just likes to steal.
Today when the black-ish star was on The Real, they asked him if it is true that he brought home some linen towels from the White House. He came clean and admitted that he did. However, he took them for his co-star Deon Cole, who wanted his boss to bring something back for him.
Anderson not only stole for Cole, but he also took stuff for himself. Not from 1600 Penn, but from Air Force Two. When he was traveling with Michelle Obama with the USO, he noticed that they had some grape Kool-Aid on the plane. Therefore, he took two packs of that and a deck of cards with her face on it.
Hey, Secret Service, go get him! Joking.
The big takeaway from this story is that the Obamas and Donald Trump have something in common. They both want you to drink the Kool-Aid. However, only the Donald wants you to drink it with cyanide in it.
Yesterday, Jeannie Mai announced that she was forced to drop out of Dancing with the Stars because of a medical emergency. The Real host found out that she was suffering from epiglottitis, and she needed surgery to correct the condition that could have potentially killed her.
“I would never imagine ever having to write this, but I made it safely out of my emergency surgery. I will be forever grateful to Dr. Nasseri who identified my potentially life-threatening condition. What simply started as a sore throat had unbeknownst to me become a dangerous infection that already closed at least 60% of my airway and resulted in a throat abscess that spread in a matter of 3 days,” Mai said. “Although I am grateful to be recovering safely, I can’t lie… I am devastated by the fact that my journey with #DWTS will end this way 🥺😞 Dancing on this show has been the most exhilarating adventure. I’ve gained both beautiful friendships and loving supporters.”
While she won’t be able to compete on Dancing anymore, hopefully, they can find something else for her to do when she is better. Maybe she can replace Tyra Banks, who shed crocodile tears for Mai on the ABC competition show last night.
Jeannie Mai is in the hospital for surgery this morning, and she is forced to drop out of Dancing with the Stars. The Real host is suffering from epiglottitis, a potentially life threatening inflammatory condition. According to the Mayo Clinic, the condition occurs when “the epiglottis — a small cartilage \”lid\” that covers your windpipe — swells, blocking the flow of air into your lungs.”
“My doctors discovered a health concern with my throat which requires immediate attention and surgery,” she told Good Morning America in an exclusive statement. “I am heartbroken that my DWTS journey has to end here.”
“I have pushed myself to new limits physically and mentally, and I am so proud of how far we’ve come,” she added.
Her partner, Brandon Armstrong, told GMA he is heartbroken, but he is praying she has a speedy recovery.
Due to her leaving the show unexpectedly, tonight’s double elimination will only be a single one.
Get well soon. I am sure Mama Mai will have tons of soup waiting for you.
Kim Coles was on The Real today, and the hosts asked her to get real about the prospect of will there ever being a Living Single revival?
Coles told them there is a lot of talk about it. However, there is one thing that is stopping them from moving forward. She said that the producer/creator, Yvette Lee Bowser, feels that “it is all or nothing.” That means, according to Coles, “unless everyone says yes, it won’t happen.”
Loni Love was paying attention to the actress’ words and wanted to know who was the person who is saying no. Coles wouldn’t say who or what sex they are, which means we have to guess who it is?
Is it Queen Latifah, Erika Alexander, T.C. Carson, John Henton, Kim Fields, and Mel Jackson? We know it is not Coles, so my money is on Queen Latifah. Then again, it could be Carson, who had issues with the writers, and that caused him to be fired from the sitcom. Who do you think it is?
Last month, Tamera Mowry announced she was leaving The Real to spend some real quality time with her family. Today, the talk show revealed who will be replacing her. Starting in on September 21st, Garcelle Beauvais will be sitting next to Loni Love, Jeannie Mai, and Adrienne Houghton.
“I am thrilled to be joining the dynamic, bold and diverse women on the award-winning talk show The Real,” Garcelle said. “My love for pop culture and news blended with my natural gift of gab, has always made me gravitate towards a talk show environment. It’s also exciting that it’s happening right after my amazing time joining The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.”
Beauvais has always been vocal about her life and other things, so I think she will be a great addition to the table. Although, she will not be sitting next to her co-hosts when the season starts. That is because they will be virtually hosting for the time being.
