The CW gives birth to the delightful Bump tonight
August 11th, 2022 under The CW. [ Comments: none ]

The CW imported Bump from Australia, and it is as lovable as koalas look, mate. The series that debuts tonight at 8p is about a teenage girl who gives birth even though she didn’t know that she was pregnant.

And that is how the show starts. Oly (Nathalie Morris) is rushed to the hospital with stomach pains, and it turns out she was in labor. Since she didn’t know she was pregnant, she doesn’t have any attachment to her baby. She wants to give it up, but the hospital insists that she takes her daughter home with her for 30 days because that is how they do things there.

Now, she and her recently separated mom (Claudia Karvan) have to figure out a way to raise this baby. That’s right. If Oly didn’t have enough to deal with now, she also has to deal with her parents splitting. Her dad wants to move back in, but her mom is having an affair. I should say, seeing someone new.

This brings us back to who was Oly seeing. She has been dating someone, but he is not the father. The father is Santi (Carlos Sanson Jr), who is more popular than she is. He wants to take responsibility for the baby, but Oly thinks she can do it by herself.

However, she lets him and his family in to get to know the baby. Now his family is her family in more ways than she knows.

In each of the ten episodes, Oly, Santi, and their families try to adapt to this new person in their lives. And we get to see them try to do the best that they can in a difficult situation.

And one thing that is not difficult is watching this show. There is something about it that makes it so enjoyable to watch. I binged it all in one day because I couldn’t stop watching it. I wanted to know what happened next, but I also cared about what happened next.

You cannot help but to fall in love with this show, so watch the first two episodes tonight at 8p and keep coming back for more every Thursday. This way, The CW will import the second and third seasons for us to enjoy.

The Flash is the last of the original DC Universe shows on The CW, so you would think it would last forever. Sadly, its run will literally be coming to an end with this upcoming season.

“Nine seasons! Nine years of saving Central City while taking audiences on an emotional journey full of heart, humor and spectacle. And now Barry Allen has reached the starting gate for his last race,” executive producer/showrunner Eric Wallace said in a statement. “So many amazing people have given their talents, time and love to bring this wonderful show to life each week. So, as we get ready to honor the show’s incredible legacy with our exciting final chapter, I want to say thank you to our phenomenal cast, writers, producers and crew over the years who helped make The Flash such an unforgettable experience for audiences around the world.”

The final season will air in 2023 and only be 13 episodes.

Are you sad to see Barry Allen disappear in a flash?

Tom Swift is The CW’s newest show, and it premieres tonight at 10p. However, he is not new to the network because we have seen him on Nancy Drew.

Swift (Tian Richards) is a billionaire inventor, and all he wants is his father’s love and respect. But he doesn’t get that. His father doesn’t have faith in his son, even though he invented a spaceship for him. Before his dad goes into Space, he tells his son that he is giving the company to someone else if anything happens to him.

Swift thinks that his dad doesn’t fully support him because he is gay. He might be right.

Now, Swift is doing everything he can to prove the company should be his, and it should be. Will he be able to win over the board and his father? We will have to tune in every week to find out.

And you are going to want to watch it because Tom Swift is a captivating show that keeps you wanting more.
