Star-Crossed is an out of the world love story! |

Tonight at 8p Star-Crossed makes it debut on the Earth Channel The CW, and you don’t want to miss this love story with an out of this world twist.
On May 16, 2014, the Atrians left their dying planet and crash landed on Earth. As you would expect the Earthlings were scared of them even though they pretty much look like us. One of the Atrians ran from the humans and the young boy, Roman (Matt Lanter) ran into a barn. While he was there, he met Emery (Aimee Teegarden) who gave him some cold spaghetti. A short while later the military caught up to him and it looks like they killed him.
Ten years have passed since that day and now that Atrians live in their secluded area away from the humans. But the Earthlings are finally willing to let their two worlds meet as they allow The Atrian 7, (7 teens) go to a human high school in Baton Rouge. Just like during the Civil Rights Movements back in the ’50s and ’60s, people are trying to blockade their entrance into the school and their fellow classmates don’t want them in there either.
Can these two worlds co-exist or will they always be worlds apart? You have to watch this modern day version of Romeo and Juliet to find out every Monday at 8p.

Supernatural, Arrow, Vampire Diaries and The Originals will continue to Reign on The CW |
February 13th, 2014 under The CW. [ Comments: none ]

The CW announced today that it picked up Supernatural, Arrow, The Vampire Diaries, The Originals and Reign for another season. Supernatural now ties Smallville for the most seasons of any show that has aired on The WB/The CW and the record is well deserved. Hopefully it will go on for another 10 at least!
When it comes to what shows are still awaiting their fate, they are The Carrie Diaries, Hart of Dixie, Beauty and The Beast and The Tomorrow People. I am really hoping that the network brings back TCD and HoD back because I still adore those shows. I think the Sex and the City prequel still has so much more tell.

Scott Porter phone home! |
January 27th, 2014 under Scott Porter, The CW. [ Comments: none ]

Remember that infamous scene in E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial when they hid ET among all the stuffed animals. Well, that is what I thought of when I saw this photo that Scott Porter Instagrammed. So why is he surrounded by all of them? As he explained, “When you live with someone addicted to plushies…you wake up like this.” I hope his wife does that more often because just when I thought the Hart of Dixie couldn’t be any cuter, I see a picture of him like this and he’s even cuter.
So tune in to see him tonight on The CW show at 8p without all those stuffed friends.

CW Seed spies a Veronica Mars spinoff! |

Today was The CW TCA Winter Press Day and the big news from the network’s President Mark Pedowitz is that there is going to be a Veronica Mars digital spinoff coming to CW Seed. Not much more is known because he just started talking to the show’s creator, Rob Thomas, a week ago and finalized the deal last night. In fact he couldn’t even tell us who the spinoff is going to revolve around. Well shortly after the session Thomas Tweeted, “The CW web series: a comedy featuring @HiRyanHansen attempting to put together a Dick Casablancas spin-off of #VeronicaMars. No date yet.” So we will just have to wait for it. If we can almost 7 years for the movie, we can wait a few months for the online series. Right?

Ian Somerhalder wishes us a bloody Merry Christmas! |
December 16th, 2013 under Ian Somerhalder, The CW. [ Comments: none ]

One of the advantages of playing a blood thirsty vampire on The CW show The Vampire Diaries, is you get to make a Season’s Greetings card like Ian Somerhalder that totally doesn’t suck.
So what is his message for this Christmas, it is “Season’s Greetings from Damon The Red-Nosed Reindeer Ripper…” So if Santa’s sleigh is shining so bright this year, you will know why. Blame the baddest Vampire on television today.
