The Vampire Diaries has been struggling in the ratings since it lost its female star Nina Dobrev, so The CW decided to make a change. Starting on January 29th, the Vampire show moves to Fridays along with its spinoff The Originals. What will replace those two show on Thursday nights? Starting on January 21st, the much anticipated DC’s Legends of Tomorrow and the barely talked about The 100 will takeover the formers timeslots. Legends looks thrilling, but do we have room for another comic show? We shall see.
The scheduling change wasn’t The CW’s announcement today. They also decided to pick up 5 more episodes for The Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and 6 more for iZombie. Personally, I am surprised that they are staying with Crazy because the lead is so unlikable. I want to like this show, but she is so over the top unappealing, it is hard to adore it like we show. When it comes to iZombie, I wish it got back 9 because I think it is the network’s best show.
Now there is one show whose future is in question and that is Reign. At this point, The CW doesn’t have a slot for it. I have to say, I am so OK with this period drama ending. It was built on the love story between Queen Mary of Scots and King Francis of France and with him out of the picture, there really is no reason for this show to go on. Do CW viewers really care about the politics of the 16th Century, I know I don’t. Do you? And what do you think of all of the changes?

If you are like me and you are still missing Constantine, then you can get a quick fix on tonight’s Arrow at 8p on The CW. The suspenseful episode will totally get your heart racing.
As we know, Laurel (Katie Cassidy) dug up sister Sara (Caity Lotz) from the grave and had her brought back to life. Sadly, it was not the Sara we knew and that is because she has no soul. Tonight, Constantine (Matt Ryan) will team up with Oliver (Stephen Amell) to get Sara back her soul. It will not be an easy task, but they are willing to risk it to save her. Will they all come out of this mission alive? You will just have to tune in to find out.
I am hoping the Big Wigs at The CW see how great Ryan is on the show, and decide to give Constantine a show of his own on their network. Or at the very least bring him back to Arrow a few more times. The chemistry between Ryan and Amell is dynamic and I would like to see it more often.
iZombie’s Executive Producer Dan Etheridge gave the keys to his apartment to the stars of his show, and I’m sure he quickly regretted that decision when he saw what Rose McIver and Rahul Kohli were doing in this photo. The two of them left their mark, well at least one of them did as we can see picture.
While they might be sh!tty housesitters, they are great at solving murders. Tune into iZombie tonight at 9p on The CW to see what personality Liz transforms into after she eats the brain of the latest murdered victim. McIver should get more credit for the awesome job she does taking on a new persona every week so flawlessly.
Talking about McIver, I didn’t realize she was wearing a wig on the show. I thought they dyed her hair that bleached blonde.

Just when you thought our televisions would be a little less musical without of Glee, here comes Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. The musical comedy debuts at 8p tonight at on The CW and it’s crazy good!
Back in 2005, Rebecca (Rachel Bloom) dated Josh Chan (Vincent Rodriguez III) at summer camp, but their love ended when their parents came to pick them up.
Now 10 years later, she is a successful lawyer in NYC who is about to be made partner. Only problem is that she isn’t sure she wants it. When she is outside contemplating her future, she see Josh Chan. The two of them reconnect in a special way, but he is moving back to West Covina, Ca.
She decides to quit her job and move to West Covina, but it is not because of Josh Chan.
As soon as she gets settled, she takes a job there as a lawyer. Paula (Donna Lynne Champlin) is her paralegal and she doesn’t trust Rebecca.
Now that she has an apartment and a job, she decides it is time to find Josh Chan. Instead she finds his friend Greg (Santino Fontana) and he falls for her. She doesn’t feel the same way, but he is her way to find Josh Chan.

Then at 9p, Jane the Virgin is back. The episode starts off where the season finale ended. We find out what happened to Mateo and how Jane (Gina Rodriguez) and Rafael (Justin Baldoni) can get their baby back. How long will this plotline last? What would be the fun in telling you?
Elsewhere on the show, her mother, Xo (Andrea Navedo), and father, Rogelio de la Vega (Jaime Camil), have not told anyone they are married. Petra (Yael Grobglas) is deciding what to do with the last of her ex-husband’s sperm. And then there’s Michael (Brett Dier) who continues to remain the nice guy.
I know I am not telling you much, but there are so many surprises during the season premiere, I want you to enjoy them just like I did.
I will tell you one thing, the show is just as enjoyable as it was last year. Not that many sophomore shows can say that and this one of the rare few.
If you have been wondering how The Vampire Diaries will go on without Elena (Nina Dobrev), then tonight at 8p on The CW you are going to get your answer.
The episode takes place a little while after the season finale and they are trying to get on with their lives. But then the Heretics come to Mystic Falls and the town will never be the same.
Stefan (Paul Wesley), Damon (Ian Somerhalder), Caroline (Candice Accola) and Bonnie (Kat Graham) have to come up with a plan to keep peace among the two groups, but will it work? We will have to tune in every week to find out.
I wasn’t sure if The Vampire Diaries could go on without its leading lady, but tonight they proved that they can. In fact, I think they have proven it much better than some other veteran shows who have yet to prove that they should’ve come back this season.
