The iZombie cast sings their theme song!
March 30th, 2016 under iZombie, The CW. [ Comments: none ]

It is very rare that a TV show has a theme song these days, and it is even rarer that you will ever hear the cast of that show sing it. Yesterday when the cast of iZombie was live Tweeting The CW show, they did just that. Listen to Rose McIver, Malcolm Goodwin, Rahul Kohli and Robert Buckley come alive to their opening tune. Just when I thought I couldn’t love the Zombie procedural cast anymore, they do this.
Now since I am talking about iZombie, I just to give McIver the accolade she deserves. Every week she plays Liv Moore and the person whose brain she ate. In other words, she truly is a great actress the way that she not only does she switch it up every week, she also switches it up in the episode. She should get more credit for that than she does.

The CW picked up all of its shows for another season!
March 11th, 2016 under The CW. [ Comments: none ]

The CW announced which shows of theirs will be back next year and the answer is all of them. That’s right, Crazy Ex Girlfriend, Jane The Virgin, The Flash, iZombie, Arrow, Supernatural, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, The 100, Vampire Diaries, The Originals and Reign will all be back next year.
Finally a network who makes their fans happy! Although I was hoping that Reign was cancelled because it has so been sucking this season!
Seriously, I don’t know if this has ever happened before and I wouldn’t mind if it happened again. My DVR on the other hand feels differently because it likes when I give up shows. Like I just removed 2 new shows from Season Pass because when they came back from hiatus I didn’t care anymore about them.

Stephen Amell and John Barrowman are the music of tonight!
January 27th, 2016 under DC Comics, John Barrowman, Stephen Amell, The CW. [ Comments: none ]

Stephen Amell | Facebook

We know that a new episode of Arrow airing tonight on The CW at 8p is music to the ears, so that means that the show’s stars Stephen Amell and John Barrowmem are the music of the night. Thus it makes sense that when they were trapped in NJ this weekend due to the snow storm at the Heroes & Villains Fan Festival they would sing the most famous song from The Phantom of the Opera. Right?
Executive Producer Greg Berlanti has dabbled with musical numbers on Eli Stone; and I think after this performance, he needs to try it out again on Arrow. Who’s with me?

DC’s Legends of Tomorrow is legendary!
January 21st, 2016 under The CW. [ Comments: none ]

Arrow and The Flash have given birth to a spinoff and it is called DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. Several characters, who appeared on the first two shows, are on this one, that debuts at 8p tonight on The CW, to save the world.
It is 2166, and the immortal Vandal Savage (Casper Crump) has taken over the world and destroyed it. There are a group of time travelers, who are protecting the time line, but they can’t change the past. Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) doesn’t agree with them and he thinks that they should altar time and kill Savage before his world dominance. So he goes back to 2016 and recruits a team to help him destroy Hunter.
He recruits Professor Martin Stein (Victor Garber) and Jax (Franz Drameh), criminals Leonard Snart (Wentworth Miller) and Mick Rory (Dominic Purcell), sisters Laurel (Katie Cassidy) and Sara Lance (Caity Lotz), soulmates Kendra Saunders (Ciara Renée) and Carter Hall (Falk Hentschel), and Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh). Each have their own power that will help them fight and hopefully kill Vandal Savage. That is if they ever can work together as team.
Something that will be a lot easier when they start traveling back in time. Their first stop is a groovy one as they go back to 1975. Will also be their last stop?
You will just have to tune in to this exciting comic book show to find out every Thursday at 8p.

Tom Cavanuagh and Carlos Valdes’ horny Christmas songs!
December 9th, 2015 under The CW. [ Comments: none ]

Last year, Tom Cavanuagh and Carlos Valdes dusted off their horns to dazzle us with White Christmas and Santa Claus is Coming Town. This year, the Flash stars brought us Christmas cheer with O Christmas Tree and Winter Wonderland.
Who knew that not only could these two blow us away with their acting, they can also blow a mean air horn. If you close your eyes, you would never know that they weren’t playing any instruments and that is a Christmas miracle that keeps on giving.
In fact, I hope that network big wigs at The CW give them a special where the two of them can entertain us by blowing their horns all night long. Wait, that sounds like a different type of special, but you know what I meant.
Seriously though, didn’t their renditions of Christmas Carols make you feel all warm inside with holiday joy? Even more so than chestnuts roasting on an open fire?
