May 31st, 2009 under SYTYCD. [ Comments: none ]

The always interesting Sex is going to audition once again on So You Think You Can Dance in Seattle. Sadly though Nigel Lythgoe Tweeted, “I promise all you SYTYCD fans that this is the final time Sex will appear on the show. You’ll see why!!!?” He also said that he loved his dance battle which sounds like that is what did in one of our favorite auditioners. So tune into SYTYCD tonight on Fox at 8p to see what will be the end of Sex.

So You Think You Can Dance is back tonight!!!
May 21st, 2009 under SYTYCD. [ Comments: none ]

My favorite part about American Idol being over, is that now it is time for So You Think You Can Dance to start! Tonight on Fox at 8p we begin the audition phase where we see some really good dancers and some even alcohol can’t help. I can’t wait to see what dancers make it to the Top 20 and what choreography they will do on the show this season. Forget Dancing with the Stars this is the dancing show to watch! Especially since they now have 3 former-contestants on that other show!
And the best about this season of SYTYCD is don’t have to wait long for the next one because it will be back on Fox this fall!

Looks like SYTYCD will need a new choreographer
April 5th, 2009 under SYTYCD. [ Comments: 1 ]

So You Think You Can Dance choreographer and Salsa dancer Alex Da Silva was arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting and raping four of his students according to The LA Times.

Authorities said that the four vicitims were all students of Da Silva at the time of the assaults. “The victims allege that he lured them to his homes in North Hollywood and Van Nuys,” the police said in a statement. “He then used a ruse to get them into his bedroom, where he raped them.”

He is currently being held for on $3.8 million bail and police are asking for other alleged assault victims to contact them. That is crazy and sick if it is true. And if it is true, they should lock him up and throw away the key.

So You Think You Can Dance will be back on 5/21!
February 24th, 2009 under SYTYCD. [ Comments: 5 ]

There are two things I like most about American Idol ending its season on May 20th! The first is that it is finally over, but the better reason is because the next night (5/21) So You Think You Can Dance is back!!! I personally prefer SYTYCD way over AI! I love to watch the dances that they do! Some of them will stay with you forever because they are so beautiful and well choreographed! And now that dancers from SYTCD are graduating to Dancing with the Stars, it is making more excited for both shows!!!
BTW just because SYTYCD announced their return date, that doesn’t mean they are done with auditions. If you want show off your moves on the next SYTYCD and be the next SEX than checkout the SYTYCD casting page for more info!!!

Who will win So You Think You Can Dance tonight?
August 7th, 2008 under SYTYCD. [ Comments: 1 ]

So tonight is finally the night that we find out who wins So You Think You Can Dance and what a season it has been! I am sad to see it end.
How exhausting was that number with Twitch and Joshua? After watching it, it is obvious to see why both were hospitalized for dehydration over the weekend.
When it comes to the winner, I think (and hope) that it is Joshua. If the ratings that Mark Berman posted are accurate…

8:00 p.m. 5.0/ 9 (#1)
8:30 p.m. 5.7/10 (#1)
9:00 p.m. 6.3/10 (#1)
9:30 p.m. 6.6/11 (#1)

I think that it will be Joshua. That is because the largest amount of viewers saw him do three dances, while Courtney will be in trouble because her first two dances were in the first half hour. I think that the hip hop dance she did with Twitch was the best of the night.
Finally I don’t know if I am just so over Mia Michaels, but I think that the dance she created for the final four sucked. Oh well hopefully there will be a lot less of her next season and I am just not talking about her weight!
