Supernatural turns 300 with an episode fans will cherish
February 7th, 2019 under Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Supernatural. [ Comments: none ]

Supernatural has been on the air for so long, the Winchester Boys are collecting social security. OK, maybe that not that long, but they did survive the network that they launched on. The WB ended ceased operation in 2006 when Supernatural was just a year old. The fact that you are using your fingers to do the math proves how long it has been on the air.

What also proves it, is the show will be airing its 300th episode tonight at 8p on The CW. That is a lot of episodes and this Sci-Fi show deserves it. What the fans, who have been around since day one (like me), deserve is an episode we will not soon forget. We definitely get that.

The episode starts off with Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) going to a store where a man collects cursed artifacts. One of the items that belonged to a serial killer gets into the wrong hands, and now that murderer is coming for those hands.

Once the brothers deal with that, it is time for them to deal with Dean’s problem. They think they found a solution, but instead, it brings their father (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) back from the dead. For the first time since Sam was a baby, he, his mom (Samantha Smith), his dad and his brother are all in the same room. Which normally would be impossible because both parents are supposed to be dead.

That is neither here nor there, all four Winchesters are together again. What will they say to each other? What will they do? There is so much you want to know. But I will not tell you anything. All I will say is that if at any time you were a fan of the show, then you are not going to be disappointed by tonight’s episode. It is a fan’s dream come true and so brilliantly done. It is why the show is picked up for a 15th season and most likely a Sweet 16 one too.

Whether you have seen all the previous 299 episodes or you missed a few, tonight is a must not miss episode. Here is too hoping for 300 more episodes. The actors will be in their 50’s if that were to happen, so it is still doable, right?

Sincerely, I cannot praise this episode enough. It is defintely one of the show’s best in its 14 season and counting run.

The CW picked up Dynasty, Supernatural and 8 other shows
January 31st, 2019 under Dynasty, Supernatural, The CW. [ Comments: none ]

The CW did their annual early pick ups and they picked up everything that is not ending this season or All American. In other words, Arrow, Black Lightning, Charmed, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, Dynasty, The Flash, Legacies, Riverdale, Supergirl and Supernatural and will all be back on the lineup next season.

Since I watch Dynasty, I am shocked and thrilled it will be back for more catfights. Talking about fights, Sam and Dean will be fighting demons for season 15. Can Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki still do that? I mean they have been doing the show for so long, aren’t they grandfathers using canes wearing medic alert bracelets by now? Which makes me feel old because I have been watching since the pilot. Don’t believe me. Here is what Misha Collins said about the news, “Season 15 is official. Time for hip replacements. #Supernatural”

Another show awaiting its fate is Roswell. Since it is only been on a few weeks, it makes sense that they did not pick it up with this batch. I just hope they renew it by May. I was not expecting to like it, but turns out I do.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan lives again on Supernatural!
December 13th, 2018 under Supernatural. [ Comments: none ]

Before Jeffrey Dean Morgan was on The Walking Dead, he was just dead on Supernatural. However, on February 7th, Papa Winchester will somehow be resurrected for The CW’s 300th episode. The first time he has been seen on the Sci-Fi dramedy in a decade.

How he will return we do not know, but this show has surprised us time and time again. Hopefully, he will leave baseball bat home.

Here is another spoiler about the 300th episodes. Executive Producer Andrew Dabb revealed, “We’re incredibly excited to have Jeffrey back for this milestone episode, and think fans will love what we have planned for his character… and a few other surprise guest stars.” I am rooting for the return of Corin Nemec, Timothy Omundson and Curtis Armstrong.

Jensen Ackles’ supernaturally cute family
November 27th, 2018 under Supernatural. [ Comments: none ]

Jensen Ackles and Danneel Harris opened their Austin home to Architectural Digest and we got a rare glimpse of their three kids. Justice, 5, and twins Zeppelin and Arrow, nearly 2, are getting so big. They are also a perfect mix of their parents.

On Supernatural he lives such an abnormal lifestyle, thankfully he comes home to a normal one. The one thing both of his lives have in common is a strong family bond. What more can you ask for?

Misha Collins takes several cream pies to the face!
October 1st, 2018 under Supernatural. [ Comments: none ]

The Supernatural set seems like it would be a lot of fun to work on. Now we know that it is a funny set too.

That is because the other day Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki and a few other smacked a few cream pies into Misha Collins’ face. I am not exactly sure why, but Sam Winchester wrote, “Donation link is here!!! http://foodbank.bc.ca/rtc18_supernatural.”

At least it was for a good cause. Is it just me or does Castiel look like The Joker when he smiles with all of that whipped cream on his face? I know he is too good looking to play the role, but still.

When it comes to their show that is going into its 14th season, it will be back next Thursday for us to enjoy again.
