William Shatner and J.J. Abrams have been fueding over the fact that the original Captain Kirk was not in the Star Trek prequel. Well a few weeks ago the Executive Producer and Hollywood Legend met up at William Shatner’s Charity Horse Show and hugged it out! About time these two made up, now if only J.J. would cast him the sequel to the prequel, all would be well!!!

Before Chris Pine was even born, he was on his father’s aka Robert Pine’s show CHiPs. Chris Pine will probably been the youngest Before They Were Famous I will ever do, making his debut in his mother’s aka Gwynne Gilford’s belly on CHiPs in 1979. Now that is a Before They Were Famous!!!
Side Note: The whole interview is worth the watch!!!
Before Zachary Quinto was Sylar on Heroes and Spock in Star Trek, he was a bi-sexual toting around a hamster on Off-Centre. How Spockish did he look when he was 25 as a guest star on the hilarious sitcom back in 2002! And a little bonus how freaking awesome was it to see (at 2:30 in) the future Spock and the future Sulu aka John Cho working together years before J.J. Abrams would even dream of making a Star Trek with them! BTW don’t forget Star Trek comes out today!!!
Star Trek’s original Captain Kirk aka William Shatner posted this video of him meeting the new Captain Kirk aka Chris Pine for the first time at the Iron Sink Shatner Project event! How cool was it to see their first encounter? Chris seemed genuinely excited to finally meet him!!! Too awesome!
Last week I posted pictures of the two Spocks (Leonard Nimoy and Zachary Quinto) together at that same event. Yesterday on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Zachary Quinto aka the new Spock talked about Living Long and Prospering with original Spock at Nimoy’s house!
BTW I am so officially excited for Star Trek that is finally coming out this Friday!!! Who is else going this weekend?
Christian Slater went to the Star Trek premiere yesterday and the photographers asked him to do the Vulcan handshake. As you can see from these pictures, he failed miserably. Seriously they should have sent him home right and then there and banned him from ever seeing or talking about the movie. I am not a Trekkie and even I know how to do it. So many other people were worthy of attending that premiere and he got to go instead. Sad.
