Happy St Patrick’s Day!

Even though I grew up in NYC, I have to admit we have nothing on Chicago when it comes to celebrating St Patrick’s Day. One of the things they are most known for is turning their lake green for the day. Well up until today I always thought that Leprechauns did it, but now we are seeing how it is really done with this awesome time lapse video by Peter Tsai. Seriously how blimey cool is that?
One mystery solved, now I just have to figure out how they turn my beer green for the holiday.
On that note, have a happy St Patty’s Day and party responsibly.

Astronaut Karen Nyberg, who is back on Earth, Tweeted this picture of “A Valentine from Earth” and I thought it was the perfect way to wish all of you a Happy Valentine’s Day!
Remember to use a condom because the initials for today’s holiday are VD and you don’t want to catch one!

Party like it’s 2014 in 2013!
Remember don’t drink and drive because tonight is when all the amateurs are out doing it. And if you have had too much to drink, take 2 aspirins before you go to sleep because it will help in the morning.

Merry Christmas!
December 25th, 2013 under SOW Greetings. [ Comments: none ]

If you think about it, Christmas has really gone to the dogs. From Black Friday up until today, it is a dog eat dog world out there as you try to get all your holiday shopping done in time. At some point you call someone a b!tch, although it will have a different meaning that its intended use. Then you spend Christmas day digging through mounds of wrapping paper to find a bone and when you find it your tail is wagging. On December 26th, you feel as sick as dog from all the Egg Nog you drank to survive the holiday with the pack of wild dogs you call family. And finally the only cure for your hangover is hair of the dog!
So I hope that you and yours have a Woofnderful Christmas!
