Sir Ian McKellen stopped by Yahoo! offices to talk about Mr Holmes, but they asked something off topic. They wanted to see how two of this year’s biggest songs would sound if he read them. They gave him the lyrics to Taylor Swift’s Bad Blood and Bruno Mars’ Uptown Funk and told him to work his magic. What happens next is something so brilliant that only he can accomplish it. He made Swift sound smarter and Mars’ funkier, and that is a good thing.
How can you not love this man, it’s elementary!

Before Patrick Stewart was Captain Picard on Star Trek: The Next Generation, he was fireman on Coronation Street. He looks the same now as he did when he was 26 in that 1967 episode.
If I were on a plane and I saw that Sir Patrick Stewart was also on it, then I would pay to sit next to him. That was until yesterday when Jimmy Kimmel Live showed how annoying he is to travel next to. He won’t shut up, eats smelly foods, climbs over you to go to the bathroom, kicks the chair in front of him and claps when the plane the lands. I wouldn’t mind the talking because I could listen to him all day, but his stinky breath would make me want to hurl him out the emergency exit midway through the flight. Which of those offenses would make you want to flush him down the toilet? Hopefully you won’t say chair kicker because I have habit of doing that! Admit it, you are guilty of one of those five. Which one, may I ask?
Sir Patrick Stewart got a musical Santa Claus hat that dances around for Christmas and by his face, I don’t think he liked it that much. Personally, I love it on him. The only thing that would make it more perfect is if someone also got that hat for Ian McKellen and the two Sirs modeled it together for us!
We all know that Cookie Monster loves cookies and that nothing can come between him and them. That is until Sir Ian McKellan was tasked to teach him about the word resist on Sesame Street. At first Gandalf tried to demonstrate the word by trying to get the blue Muppet to resist a golden ring, but that lesson did not get through to him. So he tried it again, this time using a cookie and he got the message loud and clear. Once Cookie Monster was done being schooled, it was finally time for him to give up resisting the cookie and to eat it all up! A well deserved treat for a good student who couldn’t ask for a better teacher!
