Carrie Fisher Tweeted that her 82 year old father Eddie Fisher broke his hip. Princess Leia said yesterday, “My dad Eddie”Puff Daddy”Fisher broke his hip last night & is in surgery today. Send him a shout out- do it here or Alta Bates Summit 94705.” Today she is joking about it, “Its no surprise my dad broke his hip joint-he’s own hip guy & he’s smoked a ton of joints. Thank you to everyone who’s sending the love xocf” Let’s her pray he gets better soon.
BTW with his rumored track record with the ladies (including her mother Debbie Reynolds), it is surprising it took him 82 years to break his hip for the first time. You would think with all that hip action, it would’ve gone out sooner.
Billy Corgan was performing in Tampa when he suddenly collapsed. After the show the Smashing Pumpkins lead singer Tweeted, “And for those that saw me fall last night during Bullet, that wasn’t a stage move or clumsiness, that was me blacking out and wiping out. I have no memory of falling against the drum riser and my guitar cabinet, but I can tell you I’ve got quite a good bruise + am moving slow” Ouch.
My favorite part of the video is after he collapsed, he got right back up and continued playing. He didn’t even miss a beat after all of that.

Al Jarreau was hospitalized for respiratory difficulties in France after he collapsed on stage during a performance last night. Billboard received a statement from the hospital, “He was rushed to hospital… his condition is critical. He’s in intensive care,” said Maurice Marchetti, deputy head of the hospital at Gap. “He is still conscious but slightly drowsy because of the medication and the breathing apparatus.” Hopefully he will be better soon.
Jedward were performing at T4 Live on the Beach when Edward mistimed a jump and hurt his leg. Even though he hurt his leg, he kept performing in pain. According to The Sun they are waiting to find out if he broke it or twisted a ligament.
To be honest I have heard of Jedward, but I never listened to them before this video and you know what they aren’t that bad. Plus I really respect that Edward went on with the show even though he was in so much pain.
Star Jones has a heart and we know that because she had cardiac surgery. According to Life & Style, “On Wednesday, March 17th, a pre-planned cardiac surgery was performed on Star Jones. This recent surgery is a follow-up to the thoracic surgery she had 30 years ago. The procedure was successful and she is recovering well with her family. Star is grateful for everyone’s thoughts and prayers.”
