It has been an interesting September for Julia Louis-Dreyfus. At the beginning of the month, the actress announced that this season of Veep would be its last. Last week, she was celebrating breaking the record for the most lead actress Emmy wins by an actress. This week, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. The 56-year-old broke the news on social media and is trying to be optimistic about her diagnoses. As should we. If anyone can beat cancer, it is her.

Tony Orlando finds the humor is slicing off his finger tip |
September 25th, 2017 under Sick Bay, Tony Orlando. [ Comments: none ]

Last week, Tony Orlando had a run in with a garage door and the tip of his left middle finger lost. It was sliced right off at the upper knuckle. According to TMZ, he found the missing part, tied a yellow ribbon around the old oak tree, I mean digit, and drove himself to the hospital. Once there, they performed emergency surgery to reattach it and he is waiting to find out if it worked.
Instead of being upset about the accident, he took to Twitter to joke about it. The singer said, “I appreciate you all! Now I can only Knock 2 and half times 😜 I’m considering opening my show with ‘Fingertips Part II’ by Stevie Wonder!”
Hopefully he will be able to knock three times again soon and the Two Dawns will be answer the door!
UPDATE: Tony Orlando gave an update on his finger to The New York Daily News, he said, “They couldn’t reattach it. They’re telling me that I have to just let it heal on its own, grow over on its own.” At least now he can give the bird to whomever he wants and say that he is was just showing off his injured finger.

Megan Hilty took to Twitter today to announce that she is forced to cancel her four UK dates that were scheduled to start this Wednesday.
She wrote, “Dear UK Fans – I am deeply saddened that on doctors orders I have to cancel my trip to London this week. I have been looking forward to these shows for such a long time but unfortunately due to serious health issues my doctor has advised me to focus on my vocal health, and therefore I am unable to perform next week. I’m hoping to reschedule these concerts at a time where I can give you 100%. I apologize from the bottom of my heart for the many inconveniences this will cause you, but I am so grateful for your understanding and I can’t wait to get healthy and come sing for you in the near future. XOXO Megan.”
She did elaborate what the vocal medical issue is, but we hope the Smash star is better soon. She has the voice of an angel and she it should never be silenced.

Piers Morgan fell on the thing he is and broke 3 ribs |
August 30th, 2017 under Piers Morgan, Sick Bay. [ Comments: none ]

Piers Morgan took to Twitter to announce some literal breaking news, “I’ve broken 3 ribs falling flat on my a**e.” He did not say how it happened, so instead we are left to imagine how he did it. Which is almost as fun as seeing it actually happen. Too bad the cameras are not on when you really need them to be on because that would be a fun gif to watch over and over and over again.
Talking about cameras, the British people were happy to wake up and not see his face on Good Morning Britain. Sadly for them, he will be back on the morning news show this Monday. Hopefully he will reveal how he fell on his a$$ and that will be the one time they will want to listen to what he is saying. Because most of the time he says stupid stuff that pisses people off.

Eric Dane talks about his depression |

Eric Dane took a break from filming The Last Ship a few months ago to deal with his depression and today he opened up about it on Today. He told the anchors, “I felt very conflicted because I couldn’t figure out what I was depressed about.” But when he noticed that he did not want to get out of bed, he knew there was something seriously wrong. At first he thought it was physical, but then he learned it was mental and that was affecting the physical. After some time in rehab center and Pristiq, he is feeling like his old self again.
He says to anyone who is going through it, listen to your body and get help before it is too late. He did that and now he is feeling great again.
