David Duchovny will be back as Hank Moody on September 27th and by the looks of that preview it looks like the third season of Showtime’s Californication is going to be a charm. Seriously how awesome does the upcoming season look? I like that Hank is going to be a teacher and boy is the professor getting schooled by women! He will never learn his lesson. Peter Gallagher put it best in that trailer when he says to Hank, “You are a G-d damn Girl Whisperer!!! I freaking love that line as much as the show.
The only negative about that first look video, is we didn’t get to see what Rick Springfield, who will be playing a role that will be stretch for him….an ’80s rocker! I can’t wait to see what they do him and what he does with that!!!
If you have never seen Californication, catch up with the first two seasons on DVD before September 27th because you are not going to want to miss out on the sex driven dramedy! It will go to places no other show will or should go, but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t be watching where they take it!!!

David Duchovny and Tea Leoni are making their marriage work, so what better way to show it then to go see Cirque du Soleil’s Love in Las Vegas. How nice is it to see the family all together like that with the cast of the show? The Californication looks at home with them!
Nurse Jackie Peyton is far from ordinary. As an ER nurse, she navigates the rough waters of a crumbling healthcare system, doing everything she can to provide her patients with the best care possible. Whether she’s lighting into a smug doctor for failing to heed her advice, or stealing a fat money clip from a man who stabbed a prostitute and giving it to a pregnant widow, or forging the organ donor card of a man who just died, Jackie Peyton is compelled to make sense of the chaos and to level the playing field whenever she can. Right or wrong, it’s Jackie’s brand of justice all made that more manageable by a daily diet of prescription pain medication.
Edie Falco is back on cable television tonight and this time instead of taking lives, she is saving them. Showtime’s Nurse Jackie is a different type of medical show than anything on broadcast TV. Jackie is a nurse who knows more than most of the doctors and protects her patients. This show is a great medical dramedy for you to get your fix during the summer until the fall season starts up again.
So check out Nurse Jackie at 10:30p on Showtime. And if you really want the giggles, make sure to also watch Weeds that is back at 10p!
Tracey Ullman is back on Showtime tonight at 10p with her hysterical show State of the Union and this season she has a whole bunch of new people she is dressing up as and making fun of! I can’t wait to see what comedic genius she comes up with the season. No one does Arianna Huffington better than her, and that includes Arianna herself!
And don’t forget to check out The Tudors on Showtime before Tracey Ullman at 9p where the rebellion continues against King Henry the VIII, what is ailing him is unknown and his Queen Jane Seymour has some big news for him!
The Tudors is back for its third season on Showtime tonight at 9p and starts off where it left off with King Henry the VIII taking his third wife, Jane Seymour after the beheading his second one Anne Boleyn. The Boleyns are gone, but his daughter Mary is back. This season also deals with Northern England rebelling against the King and how he will fight back. Also King Henry is ill and no one knows with what. I can’t wait to see how this all plays out.
This season is different than the last two and I like that show is taking a new direction while keeping the same feel. So tune in for a season that will go down in the history books it is about!
