Grey’s Anatomy brings back another dead character

During the season premiere of Grey’s Anatomy, the medical drama brought back Patrick Dempsey as McDreamy. Tonight, they revived another dead character. Actually, the show’s first dead lead George O’Malley.

Just like Derek Shepherd, he came to Meredith Grey in her COVID-19 coma. She was finally able to say all she wanted to say him since that night he died in their arms back in 2009.

Since they got Dempsey and T.R. Knight to return to the ABC series, I wonder who will be next? Will it be McSteamy? Her mom? Her dad? Her sister? Now that I think about it, anyone who loves Meredith dies on the show. I wouldn’t want to be cast as her next lover because your time in Seattle Grace will be short.

In the olden days of television. If they brought back old characters for visits, then that meant it was going to be the show’s final season. Wondering if it will be the same Grey’s?

Ellen Pompeo reveals the origin story of vajayjay
November 13th, 2020 under Jimmy Kimmel, Shonda Rhimes. [ Comments: none ]

Back in 2006, Chandra Wilson uttered the word vajayjay on Grey’s Anatomy, and it is now a word in our vernacular. Did you ever wonder how it came (no pun intended) about? Cum (pun intended) on, you want to know.

Yesterday, when Ellen Pompeo was on Jimmy Kimmel Live, he asked her about carrying a penis around in a cooler on one of the episodes. That is when she shared the story about vajayjay.

During that episode, they said the word penis many, many, many times. However, ABC’s standards and practices would not let them use the word vagina. Therefore, when it came time for Wilson to say the word, she came up with vajayjay to make the men in suits happy.

By doing that, she also made us happy. Now, I want to know what other words she has cum (pun intended) up with throughout her lifetime.

Wilson is why I say Pompeo can go. I think Dr. Bailey is the real star of the show. Who doesn’t love her more?

Ellen Pompeo hints that this might be Grey’s Anatomy last year
October 28th, 2020 under Shonda Rhimes. [ Comments: none ]

Gizelle Hernandez for Variety

Ellen Pompeo keeps hinting she is ready to quit Grey’s Anatomy, and she did it once again. “We don’t know when the show is really ending yet,” Pompeo told Variety. “But the truth is, this year could be it.”

The actress still has a few more months to make up her mind whether or not she will leave the medical drama. Shonda Rhimes said in the past if Meredith Grey leaves, then it is over. Does the show’s creator still feel the same way? We don’t know.

Do you think it can go on without Pompeo? I say, yes. Pompeo needs them more than they need her at this point. If she is threatening to quit the show for a raise, then I say let her Elvis. She is not worth the money. I would rather see them give to Chandra Wilson, who is the real heart of the series.

Shonda Rhimes says she quit ABC over a failed Disneyland pass
October 21st, 2020 under Shonda Rhimes. [ Comments: none ]

Three years ago, Hollywood was shocked when Shonda Rhimes announced that she was leaving ABC for Netflix. Now, she is talking to The Hollywood Reporter, and she told them why she left such a lucrative deal.

Rhimes produced some of ABC’s most talked-about shows like Grey’s Anatomy and Private Practice, but she was frustrated with the behind the scenes BS coming from the network. They wanted to limit her budget on the dramas. She didn’t like the changes they wanted to make to her scripts. She was tired of the battles.

Then it came time to negotiate a new deal. Her lawyers were going back and forth, and she knew there was going to be a breaking point. She just never expected it to be what it turned out to be.

She had an all-inclusive pass to Disneyland for herself and her nanny. During one outing, she wanted a pass for his sister so that she could watch her teenager while the nanny watched Rhimes’ two other little ones. She thought it was handled until she got to the park. That is when she found out there was no pass for her sister.

Rhimes picked up her phone, called an executive, and asked if he could help her out. She says he told her, “Don’t you have enough?”

That was when she had enough of ABC, called her lawyer, and told him to get her deal at Netflix. The rest is Hollywood history.
