Tracee Ellis Ross, who stars on Blackish with a B, has a lesson for the fans of Sesame Street. While lying in her Bed under her Blanket in the Bedroom, she let the viewers know that a lot of words in the boudoir start with the letter B. Sometimes even things you don’t normally find there also begin with the second letter in the alphabet. For example Beaver, Bear and Big Bird.
Now we know what type of changes we are going to see on HBO, people in bed with more than one puppet. It’s like Real Sex but earlier in the day! Sorry, had to go there!
The good news is that ABC asked The Muppets for 3 more episodes, the bad news is that they only asked The Muppets for 3 more episodes. While they are saying this is a full season, I don’t think it is. It is 6 episodes short of a typical full season, so I would just say it is just additional episodes.
Is the news a surprise? Not really, since the adult version didn’t really connect with viewers who were expecting The Muppets they loved. Even I have had problems loving the show. I don’t have a problem with a more mature version of the beloved kids show, but they took away why we love them. They just made them miserable people who hate each other and have stupid problems. There is nothing to love about them. Miss Piggy is a bitch, Kermit is a whiny wimp, Fozzie is depressing and so on. Hopefully with the remaining episodes that they have, they will make the characters more lovable. Make them more like The Muppets we knew and less bitter.
What do they have to be bitter about? And what does Bill Prady have to be so bitter about? He has the #1 sitcom on television and his dream show, his shows should reflect that. Instead both The Big Bang Theory and this show have become comedies full of bitterness. Comedy is supposed to be funny not depressing. That’s what dramas are for.
One last note, now that it looks like that The Muppets won’t be back for season 2, let’s get Miss Piggy and Kermit the Frog back together again. That is the biggest reason why the show failed. You can’t break up one of America’s favorite couples and expect to succeed. Right?
What do you think of the new Muppets?
Last week, Justin Bieber released his song called Sorry. Sorry but not sorry to him, but Miss Piggy does a better song with Sorry in the title. Tonight on The Muppets, she debuted her tune I’m Sorry when she sang it to Reese Witherspoon and I think the Beebs should sing her song instead of his own.
Now, when it comes to Witherspoon, how far the mighty has fallen. First she did Best Time Ever and now she is doing The Muppets, so you have to wonder how long until she does a cheesy sitcom. Probably, next season.

Tonight at 8p on ABC, The Muppets have a night out. When Miss Piggy finds out the staff of Up Late are going out without her after the show, she makes Kermit the Frog have them ask her to join them. She says she doesn’t want to go, she just wants to be asked. So when they ask her, she says yes. Now, they are stuck doing Karaoke with her. Turns out she is a lot of fun. Too much fun. She tells them they don’t have to be at work until the afternoon and now that night’s show is in jeopardy. Will Kermit be able to save that night’s show or will it be a disaster?
He isn’t the only one having a bad day, Fozzie the Bear accidentally hits one of the audience members with a T-shirt from a T-shirt gun. When the audience member is taken to the hospital, Fozzie is wrecked with guilt and can’t go on.
What will happen to Up Late tonight? You will have to tune in to find out.

Then at 8:30p over at Fox, The Grinder is all about coming forward with the truth. When Stewart (Fred Savage) and his wife Debbie (Mary Elizabeth Ellis) go to watch Ray Donovan, they find out that someone erased it from the DVR. Immediately they blame the kids (Hana Hayes and Connor Kalopsis) for erasing it, but both of them deny it.
All of this reminds Stewart of the time when he was a teenager and he was accused of breaking a window that he knows Dean (Rob Lowe) broke, but Dean still denies it even after all of these years.
So for the rest of the episode, it is who said game. And by then end of it, you will know who did what. Think you know who did what? You could be wrong, so tune in to find out.

Then at 10p over on NBC, Chicago Fire is back. The episode picks up where the season finale left off. Casey (Jesse Spencer) is missing and no one knows where he is. Now, they are looking for him. Will they find him before it is too late?
Besides dealing with that. They get a new recruit (Steven McQueen), someone gets demoted, they tackle some of their toughest calls and someone will quit.
It is a lot to deal with in an hour, but that is why this show is on fire.
Josh Groban has worked with many singers, who are known for being Divas, and he told PBS NewsHour who he thinks is the biggest one of them all. Is it Celine Dion? Barbra Streisand? Kelly Clarkson? Sting?
It is none of the above. As it was revealed yesterday on The Muppets he had a torrid affair with Miss Piggy. PBS Newshour asked him about their wild weekend and he said, “She is an icon. She can have her pick of any man and I guess I am honored for the short time we had together.” Then he added, “Kermit, as he does, got in the way.”
Before their short tryst, they sang a duet on her late night show. He described what it was like working with his now-ex as, “I’ve worked with a lot of performers in the past, she was definitely the biggest Diva I’ve worked with.”
Sounds like he is a little bitter, but you can’t blame him. Once you go Miss Piggy, you lose the desire to get jiggy. It’s no biggie. There’s still Kat Dennings who he can diggy.
