Saturday Night Live is celebrating its 40th Anniversary tonight at 8p on NBC and the guest list is better than the Emmys, Golden Globes, Grammys and Oscars combined. They are the people who launched the show like Bill Murray and Dan Aykroyd, some of its biggest alumni like Eddie Murphy, Billy Crystal and Adam Sandler, and finally today’s cast. Not only will the The Not Ready For Prime-Time Players be there, so will some of the biggest hosts and musicians who ever appeared on the show that has been a mainstay for 4 decades and counting. I don’t know what else to tell you to watch because the guest list speaks for itself.
Well, that and they will be showing some of their most famous sketches throughout the years. I included one from 1977 that was filmed in my hometown. When I took drivers ed, I drove that same road and it was still just as bad if not worse. In fact, I think, it is still just as bad. Never gave a baby a circumcision in a car while I was driving there, but sometimes it felt like I was making one.

We know that Will Arnett can make us laugh, but can he DJ? The Millers’ star (I miss that show) showed off his skills, and let’s just say he needs to stick to his day job.
I am not saying he isn’t hot? I mean he obviously he is because why else would his hose spew like that? I know, I definitely needed to cool down after seeing him in just his swim trunks. Too bad The Lego Movie is an animated one because I would be begging for more shirtless scenes in the sequel. Who knew he was built like that under all of his clothes?

So you know that guy with those kids in those annoying AT&T It’s Not Complicated ads, well the Daily Mail is reporting that Beck Bennett is joining Saturday Night Live. I am hoping his good news is better news for us and that the phone company will cease making the commercials without him.
Seriously does anyone actually like those commercials?

Justin Timberlake joined the Five Timers Club on Saturday Night Live yesterday and because of that the five-time host was able to go to the most elite club in NYC. So elite there are only a very few group of people that get to appreciate the benefits of the membership. Those that were there to welcome him were Paul Simon, Steve Martin, Chevy Chase, Candice Bergen, Alec Baldwin and Tom Hanks. Also there, but working the club because they are not members were Dan Aykroyd as a bartender and Martin Short as a server. How cool was it to see all those greats in one SNL bit? It just makes me sad to think how funny SNL used to be when they were on the show as compared to what it is now.
