Before we watched the handsome Conan O’Brien host his talk show every night, he took a course to learn he is handsome on Saturday Night Live. How handsome was he 23-year-old in that 1989 sketch?

Before Kate McKinnon was wearing other people’s faces on top of her own on Saturday Night Live, she wore a blank mask on Mayne Street. How funny was the 24-year-old in that 2008 episode?
Yesterday, Saturday Night Live announced that Woody Harrelson and Eddie Murphy will be hosting the show this season. Today, we found out that Kate McKinnon signed on for another season, but her Ghostbuster castmate Leslie Jones did not.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, she will be focusing on her feature film career which includes Coming to America 2 and her Netflix comedy special instead.
As of now, she is the only not ready for prime time player who will not be returning. Even Kenan Thompson who has his own sitcom and a million other projects will be back.
Keenan Thompson was on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen yesterday and a fan wanted to know if Kanye West was a worse musical guest on Saturday Night Live than Justin Bieber.
Thompson said that likes the Beebs, but you can tell Mr. Kim Kardashian is a whole other story. He said, “Kanye was super far, you know, off the ripper type of weirdness. The ripper of weirdness is like here, and he was like way over there.” Yet for some reason, they keep booking West on the show. Which I am sure makes no sense to anyone else but Lorne Michaels.
Thompson also addressed whether or not we could ever get a Good Burger 2 movie. He says that he and Kel Mitchell have been having meetings about it, but it is up to the higher-ups to make that call. Considering that Brian Robbins, who created All That, Keenan & Kel and Good Burger, is now the head of the Nickelodeon, I think there is a good chance it will happen. I also hope they bring back All That with the original cast including those two, Lori Beth Denberg and Alisa Reyes.
Janes Curtain was on Watch What Happens Live yesterday and Andy Cohen wanted to talk to her about her time on Saturday Night Live.
One of the things he wanted to know is what was her relationship like with Lorne Michaels, the show’s creator. She told the Bravo host, around the third season, she asked him to get some help for John Belushi because he was going to die without it (as we know she was right). She says he told her, “What can I do?” And she figured what is the point of talking to him after that, so she stopped talking to him. If he wanted her to do something, he would go through Gilda Radner and vice versa.
Did she talk to him at the 40th Anniversary special? Curtain thanked him for getting the old gang together. It was a great night for all of the Not Ready for Prime Time Players. She then explained how that night came about. The gang got together for Tom Davis’ memorial service and Bill Murray told Michaels that they were not getting any younger and it was about time that he did something for them. The rest, as we know, was a great night of television.
When she was asked who was the worst guest host during her time on the show, she said, “Gosh, there were so many.” Then she settled with Walter Matthau. The actress said he came to play and did not take the job seriously. Something she thought was disrespectful. Who were the others? We are only left to guess.
