My eyes are wide open to see The Blind Side!!!
August 3rd, 2009 under Sandra Bullock. [ Comments: none ]

Sandra Bullock’s upcoming movie The Blind Side had me when The Fray song How To Save a Life came on because that combined with the story in just the trailer brought tears to my eyes. That is saying a lot when you don’t know anything about the movie and the trailer makes you cry. So of course I had to research what The Blind Side is all about and here is the plot:

“The Blind Side” depicts the remarkable true story of Michael Oher, a homeless African-American youngster from a broken home, taken in by the Touhys, a well-to-do white family who help him fulfill his potential. At the same time, Oher’s presence in the Touhys’ lives leads them to some insightful self-discoveries of their own. Living in his new environment, the teen faces a completely different set of challenges to overcome. As a football player and student, Oher works hard and, with the help of his coaches and adopted family, becomes an All-American offensive left tackle.

BTW here is an update on Michael Oher since the movie is based on a book on his life with Touhy’s, the 23 year old football player was a first round pick for the Baltimore Ravens at the NFL Draft this year and a few days ago he signed a 5 year $13 million contract with them. What an amazing story that needed to be turned into a movie, so go see it with your family when it comes out on November 20th!!! I know I am going to make sure to stock up on tissues so I will be prepared when I see it because it looks like it is really going to be a major feel good tearjerker.

Sandra Bullock is an evil step-mother

Sandra Bullock has made a major confession, her husband Jesse James’ kids think she is an evil step-mother according to IOL.

She said, “They call me step-monster. Every time anyone asks: ‘Is this your mother?’ I say: ‘Tell them what I am.’ And they go: ‘She’s evil you know!’
‘They’re 15, 12 and five, so there’s puberty, getting to puberty and, hopefully, far off from puberty. But I love it. You just prioritise. It’s there’s a playground incident, we drop everything and deal with it.”
And even Jesse agrees that she can be evil, she explained: “I’m a great b***h. We all have it in us. It’s fear. It’s insecurity. It’s all of those things. I’m not easy to live with. But, thank god, he loves me for me. He’s scared of me – you haven’t seen me in the morning!”

Hopefully The Proposal star has coffee near by her every morning, so things can be easier on her husband and his kids. But I think she is joking and the kids are joking with her.

Ryan Reynold’s not-so-nice-Proposal for Betty White
May 18th, 2009 under Betty White, Ryan Reynolds, Sandra Bullock. [ Comments: 1 ]

Funny or Die has released some behind-the-scenes interview preps with Ryan Reynolds, Betty White and Sandra Bullock for their upcoming movie The Proposal and let’s just say they all don’t get along as well off-screen as they do on-screen.
Actually that is them having some fun and just seeing the wonderful chemistry between the three makes me want to see the movie even more when it comes out on June 19th. Granted this movie had me at Betty White and Ryan Reynolds.
BTW who else besides me when they heard Ryan tell Betty to suck a hot hard one, was wishing they were Betty and were willfully volunteering to take him up on his offer!!!
Seriously I think this was the funniest thing I ever saw on Funny or Die, I know I was laughing throughout the whole video!!!

How sad and smart
June 23rd, 2006 under Sandra Bullock. [ Comments: none ]

SANDRA BULLOCK once ordered five dozen long-stemmed roses and had them sent to herself in order to make a potential boyfriend jealous. The SPEED star was desperate to capture the attention of a potential suitor and thought the lavish bouquets from a mystery man would arouse his envy. She explains, "I have no problem talking about a very shallow, needy time in my life. "There was a guy I was really crazy about, but he would only give me the time of day when it was convenient. "I ordered five dozen roses and put them in my house with cards. I sent them to myself because I knew he was coming by to drop off some keys. "He left and I got a call from him right away! That’s what depressed me – it worked! "We ended up dating for a very long time. I was sad about my actions and that I had to stoop to that level and it worked! "And It was expensive! I had no money!"
