Ryan Gosling’s childhood crush explains his adult one
October 6th, 2017 under Ellen DeGeneres, Ryan Gosling. [ Comments: none ]

Ellen DeGeneres is raising money for Breast Cancer Foundation this month, and she asked Ryan Gosling if he wanted to help her do it. All he had to do was answer some questions and for each one he answered the charity gets $1,000. The actor agreed only if he can donate $1,000 for each answer he would not answer. They agreed and they were off.

While the first question is the only one that is interesting, it is still worth a watch because he is so cute as he BSs his way through it. Now back to the first answer, he told Ellen that his first childhood crush is Raquel Welch. If you think about it, the ageless beauty looks a lot like his baby mama Eva Mendes. Therefore, he is dating his childhood crush. Which is sweet and creepy at the same time.

BTW thanks to all the answers he gave, BCF is $15,000 richer.

Harrison Ford can laugh and it is contagious!
October 5th, 2017 under Harrison Ford, Ryan Gosling, This Morning. [ Comments: none ]

Harrison Ford has such a dry sense of humor that you never see him laugh. Well the other day when Ryan Gosling and him were being interviewed about Blade Runner 2049 by ITV’s This Morning’s Alison Hammond, she actually got him to laugh uncontrollably. Some of it was because she has the most infectious laugh, but also because they had no choice but drink some alcohol to get through it.

Seriously, it was nice to see Hans Solo laugh out loud like that. It is so contagious, I am still laughing with them. On that note, Ford needs to do a buddy comedy with Gosling. The two of them play off of each other so well, they need to make a hilarious movie. And they need to give Hammond a part in because even if the scene is not funny, you will still find yourself giggling with her!

Don’t you just adore this interview?

Harrison Ford had to hurt Ryan Gosling more than that punch to the face!
October 2nd, 2017 under Harrison Ford, Ryan Gosling. [ Comments: none ]

The only thing I know about Blade Runner 2049 is that Harrison Ford accidentally punched Ryan Gosling in the face while they were filming a fight scene. That had to be pretty painful. While that was physical pain, I think Gosling had to feel an emotional one when his co-star could not remember his name, more than once, when they both appeared on The Graham Norton Show last week.

Because Ford has such a dry sense of humor, I do not know if he was joking or he was serious. It could honestly go either way. What do you think?

Harrison Ford talks about punching Ryan Gosling in the face!
September 29th, 2017 under Harrison Ford, Jimmy Fallon, Ryan Gosling. [ Comments: none ]

I do not know about you, but the only thing I know about Blade Runner 2049 is that Harrison Ford accidentally punched Ryan Gosling in the face while they were filming the movie. The story has been all over the place and everyone but the puncher has talked about it.

That is until last night when Jimmy Fallon asked him about it on The Tonight Show. Ford explained, “I threw 80 punches, 79 of them missed him. Which is the way you are supposed to do it in a movie. You are not supposed to really hit somebody.”

Then the NBC host wanted to know how you apologize to someone you punched right smack in the face that is worth its weight in gold. If you are Indiana Jones, you bring a bottle of Scotch over to his trailer, pour him a glass and then take the bottle back to your trailer. Basically confirming what Gosling said had happened.

I wonder what would have happened, if it happened the other way around? Could you imagine?

This Honest Trailer for La La Land is brutally honest!
May 3rd, 2017 under Emma Stone, Ryan Gosling. [ Comments: none ]

Last month, I was stuck on a JetBlue (where they don’t kick you off if they overbook) flight and one of the movies (for free) they were showing was La La Land (the price was right). Although, I try to avoid Oscars movies, I still opted to watch the Oscars Best Picture. Oh wait. I like Musicals, so I said why not give it a try and find out what all the hoopla was about. It was a much ado about nothing.

Thus, when I saw that Screen Junkies took it on as one of their Honest Trailers, I had to see how honest they would be with it. They were very honest. The best critique is when they said, “Proves it is easier to teach a world class singer (John Legend) how to act, then two world class actors (Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone) how to sing.” Which perfectly sums up this film that starts off with a great opening number and goes down faster than the Titanic (which really won Best Picture at the Oscars) did.

What also makes this Honest Trailer so swell, is the little side trip they take to Moonlight 3/4 of the way through! It is a perfect tribute to Hollywood’s Biggest Night’s biggest gaffe in its history.
