Rick Springfield is talking strangers about his life in a tell-all according to AP. The memoir that is due out in October will be “extremely candid” and in it he will be detailing his battle with depression. The book will be called Late, Late at Night, but I think he should’ve gone with Crushing Roses which is his signature move when he is given roses during his show. No other details were given about what will be in his autobiography, but you know it is going to be good. I so can’t wait to read it.
Rick Springfield is joining Californication tonight at 10p as a skewed version of himself and all I have to say to Showtime is thank you!!! I also have to thank them because I read he will be doing a nude scene for the show, his first since Hard to Hold. If you have never seen that movie, rent it now because both it and his a$$ were f*cking awesome in it!!! Stand up is like one my favorite all-time songs!!!
BTW guys can you believe he is 60 years old? I would still totally do him and I am sure I am not the only one!!!
Side note, I saw Rick Springfield at Universal Amphitheater, just over a decade after the date mentioned in that clip. It was an awesome show with Rick Springfield and Air Supply. Yeah I openly admit I had rockin’ time at an Air Supply Rick Springfield concert!!! You have a problem with that??? I love my Rick Springfield and I love that a f*cked up version of him is joining Showtime’s Californication tonight at 10:00p!!!
Rick Springfield will be talking to strangers when he plays an ’80s teen idol on 4 episodes of Showtime’s Californication! According to EW’s Michael Ausiello he will be playing “an actor who experienced huge fame in the 80’s to play themselves as a now down-on his-luck-ex-celebrity waiting tables to get by.”
Not much more is known, but with some of the sh!t that they have done on the show, the one thing we can guarantee is it will be a side of Rick Springfield we have never seen. And I can’t wait to see it!!! Maybe we will see his butt again like we did in Hard to Hold, but then again it would be hard for him to hold the bum that he had almost 25 years ago today! But I would Love Somebody at Californication if we did see again!!!

Rick Springfield is going to perform on Jimmy Kimmel Live! tonight at 12:06a! Hopefully he will perform What’s Victoria’s Secret off his new album Venus in Overdrive and smash some roses on the guitar while he sings his latest hit! And for his sake, (and mine because I want her to stay on DWTS, but more his) Cloris Leachman isn’t voted off of Dancing with the Stars tonight since the voted off dancer does JKL! after they are eliminated. Rick Springfield is releasing his first Christmas album in career that spans over 30 years. All proceeds from the recording of the song Christmas with You will be donated to support the US military veterans organization American Gold Star Mothers, Inc. The must have CD with 14 Christmas songs is selling for the bargain price of $9.98, and for that price I am going to buy myself something special for the season! Doesn’t he sound wonderful singing Christmas with You? Rick Springfield gets better with age and can you believe he is almost 60?
