The Tudors picks up where it left off last season, but this season is nothing like last season. The characters are the same, but their roles have changed. King Henry VIII is ready to marry Anne Boleyn and Anne wants his first wife out Queen Katherine of Aragon out. King Henry VIII will do anything to have Anne as his wife including turning his back on Rome and the Pope played by the incredible Peter O’Toole is not going to be bullied by the King.
The acting is just as good ever, the photography is still beyond beautiful, the story makes me wish I paid attention The Tudors in history class and the eroticism is just as erotic.

The Capture of the Green River Killer is the first mini-series created for Lifetime Movie Network and it begins tonight.
I miss the old days when networks would air mini-series during sweeps, and this movie reminded me how much I miss them. Green River Killer is great crime thriller that is about capturing one of the most deadly serial killers ever. This is based on a man that was killing prostitutes near Seattle Washington in the mid-eighties and how he was caught. The movie is not about the killer, but the women he killed and the man who spent almost 20 years trying to put him behind bars. Tom Cavanagh plays a detective who gives up his life to catch this man. Amy Davidson (8 Simple Rules) plays a teenager who becomes a prostitute and from her story you see how a girl can get into the business. The movie also features Sharon Lawrence as her mom and James Marsters as Ted Bundy.
The Capture of the Green River Killer will leave you guessing throughout the 4 hours and you will also see how far technology has advanced to the point that you can actually catch a killer in just 20 years.
The Capture of the Green River Killer is an interesting four-hour mini-series that will keep you interested throughout it all. So tune in to Lifetime Movie Network tonight and tomorrow at 8p to watch this miniseries that will keep you guessing until the end.
Time for all the “wiseguys” to step aside for the “wisegal” in a mob movie like no other. From Executive Producer Joe Pistone, the real-life “Donnie Brasco,” comes a true story offering the female take on life in the Mafia. Patty Montanari, widowed at a young age, takes a page from the neighborhood Mafioso and turns to selling contraband cigarettes to support her three sons. Patty then begins a romance with mobster Frank Russo, who recognizes her business savvy and gives her a nightclub to manage. Before long, she gets promoted even higher up in the ranks. She becomes a big-time money courier for “the family.” And although she’s living the high life, Patty soon becomes disenchanted with the mob  especially when she fears that her sons may end up “wiseguys” one day. But everyone knows getting out of the mob ain’t easy  especially when you’re working for the boss of one of New York’s five biggest crime families. See how Patty tries to break free without losing her life.
Wisegal is a great movie that even though it is a mob movie it is not too mob heavy if that makes sense. I am not the biggest fan of mob movies, but I loved Wisegal. Alyssa Milano plays a woman who finds herself, her two sons and her mom broke after her husband dies from cancer and is forced to take on work she would not have done had he still been alive. She befriends the wrong people at the right time and makes a living for herself and finds loves with Jason Gederick. Gederick, who never ages, is the one that helped her get in to this life, but it is her toughness that keeps her in the life! This is great movie that everyone can watch because it has little something for men and women and the acting and story will keep you hooked!
So tune in to Wisegal tonight on Lifetime at 9p for, I mean with the family. And if you miss it tonight it will be repeating tomorrow and Monday at the same time!
When I first got the DVD to review The Return of Jezebel James I was like do I really have to watch this. Well I finally put it in and I am shocked to admit I actually really like it.
Parker Posey plays a busy business woman who finds out she can’t have kids, so she asks her estranged jobless sister to bear her child. Six Feet Under’s Lauren Ambrose plays her sister that agrees to do it in order to have a place to live in for the duration of the pregnancy. I know it sounds like a weird premise, but it actually works! It is kind of like those irrelevant sitcoms in the ’80s that they used to do before Sienfeld did a show about nothing and sitcoms got serious.
So tune in the The Return of Jezebel James tonight on Fox at 8p.
