In “Little Girl Lost,” Reyes portrays Luz Cuevas, a working-class mother who is told that her infant daughter, Delimar, has perished in a suspicious fire in their Philadelphia row house. Despite the evidence, and based only on her intuition as a mother, Luz remains convinced that her daughter was kidnapped and that she’s still alive. Luz and her husband attempt to put the tragedy behind them for the sake of their other children, however, Luz continues to suspect her distant cousin of foul play and enlists the help of Angel Cruz, a sympathetic State Representative.

Little Girl Lost premieres tonight on Lifetime Movie Network at 8p! Little Lost Girl is based on a real story, and knowing that made this movie even more remarkable. To think a woman really went through all of this, makes you think how much more this story is. This is the stuff that Hollywood dreams of, but it is not made up it is real. This movie will make you cry as Luz tries to convince everyone that her daughter is alive, and when you finally find out her daughter is alive it makes you cry tears of joy. What I like most about this story it is a politician who saves the day. Just when you lose hope in politicians, this movie helps you regain your faith in them.
So tune in to Lifetime Movie Network and watch Little Girl Lost at 8p for movie that will amaze you.

True Confenssions of a Hollywood Starlet is a must-watch
August 9th, 2008 under Lifetime, Reviews. [ Comments: 2 ]

Teen actress Morgan Carter is a Hollywood princess, until the day that her hard-partying ways get the best of her. After she collapses outside a Hollywood nightclub, Morgan’s mother sends her to live incognito in the wilds of Fort Wayne, Indiana, with her Aunt Trudy. With a new look and a seriously depleted budget, Morgan enters a suburban high school with a new identity and a bad attitude. But it’s not long before a cute boy next door turns her head. And suddenly Morgan finds herself caught between the bright lights of Hollywood and a simple life with the boy she loves. Based on the book by Lola Douglas.

I loved True Confessions of a Hollywood Starlet that premieres on Lifetime tonight at 8p! I laughed, I cried and I really want more!!!
When I got the screener for this, I thought this movie was going to be stupid and a waste of time but I was shocked by how much I loved this movie. Jojo plays a mixture of Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears, but instead she crashes and burns at 17. Because of her young age her mom and manager send her to her aunt’s (Valerie Bertinelli) in Fort Wayne, Indiana to be a normal teen. Jojo actually played the role perfectly of Morgan Carter, she changes with her character and doesn’t overact anything and doesn’t forget how she should be acting at that time in the movie. She starts off spoiled starlet but you watch her change into a normal teen. Valerie Bertinelli plays her aunt perfectly, some of their scenes together just draw right into the movie. At one point in the movie I started to cry and I couldn’t believe that this movie touched me that much. In fact I cried a few times, but I laughed and smiled even more.
It is great to watch as Morgan Carter grows throughout the movie. In fact it takes a real look into what is going wrong with some of the biggest grown up child stars of today. In fact I think this is a must watch for parents of child stars to see how important it is to make sure they have normal lives too and not one that is just work, assistants and yes people.
Seriously, I love True Confessions of a Hollywood so much, I hope that Lifetime is considering turning this movie into a series.
So tune into True Confessions of a Hollywood Starlet on Lifetime at 8p for a movie that will surprise you how good it is!

Play the game with WarGames 2: The Dead Code
August 6th, 2008 under Reviews. [ Comments: 1 ]

When Will Farmer (Lanter) hacks into a restricted network of online gaming known only as R.I.P.L.E.Y., he stumbles onto a national defense system designed to ferret out fledgling terrorist cells…and becomes Ripley’s next target! His identity compromised, his family and friends jeopardized and his hometown in the crosshairs of an automated military response, Will’s only hope to clear his name lies in beating Ripley at her own game. But when the game escalates to the next level, it becomes a race against time to stop Ripley from unleashing Armageddon!

25 years ago it was asked, “Do you want to play a game?” in WarGames and when it comes to the sequel WarGames: The Dead Code the answer is once again yes! Actually in the sequel the male computerized voice is replaced by Ripley, a sexy female voice flirting with you to “Play with me”. Ripley is the modern-day version of Joshua and she is a lot more evil and run by more of a military jerk obsessed with power which is not a good thing for our lead Will. Will is played by Matt Lanter and we got to know him in Heroes and now instead of filming the cheerleader, he is the hero he deserves to be. The movie wastes no time to get started and once it does it is one fast-paced action movie that has you rooting for the lead. We follow Will as he starts to play the game in Philadelphia and then as he goes on a school trip to Canada and gets chased in Canada by Ripley and the US Government. While running from everyone he meets Joshua’s creator Dr. Stephen Falken and together Will, Falken and yes Joshua fight Ripley. Will they be able to save the world from Ripley or will there be complete annihilation? Check this fast-pasted enjoyable sequel that was worth waiting 25 years to see!
BTW besides the great acting and special effects, the best part was hearing Joshua again!!! So go to your computer now and play the game by buying WarGames: The Dead Code that is out now!
