Remember Project Runway’s Andre and Santino?
December 5th, 2007 under Project Runway, Remember?. [ Comments: 2 ]

I wish I was there to hear Santino say "Where's Andre?" in his best Tim Gunn impersonation! BTW I did not realize that Andre was that short or maybe it is because Santino is so tall!

Britney Spears taught Heidi Klum about diapers

Heidi Klum says that she learned something from Britney Spears when she showed up at her Halloween Party according to Entertainment Wise.

"We were talking about babies and diapers and she explained to me a lot of things about diapers I that didn't know.

"You know these sticky things on the side? I never knew that they were there. To close them in the front, I was always putting string around. I had no idea.

"It's very clever. I learned a lot of things."

With 3 kids, how did Heidi Klum not know the proper way to put on disposable diapers? Those poor kids.

BTW I wish Heidi would have taught Britney how to dress, now that would be more useful than than the diaper lesson. On that note Project Runway is back on Bravo tonight at 10p.

Project Ugly Betty for Tim Gunn
February 19th, 2007 under Project Runway, Ugly Betty. [ Comments: none ]

"Project Runway’s" Tim Gunn will put his fashion savvy to good, satirical use during February sweeps on "Ugly Betty." The fashion-design show’s father figure will appear in two "Betty" episodes, scheduled to air Feb. 1 and 8. He’ll be playing a Fashion TV reporter who covers a controversy that erupts during the Mode fashion week runway show, which takes place during the Feb. 1 installment. That episode will also feature last year’s "American Idol" runner-up, Katharine McPhee, as one of the runway show’s celebrity guests. Gunn, who heads the department of fashion design at New York’s Parsons The New School for Design, has become a fan favorite over three seasons of "Project Runway" on Bravo. He acts as a mentor and taskmaster for the contestants and, via a blog on the show’s web site, also acts as a conduit to fans. Recognizing his appeal, Bravo announced last week that it’s giving Gunn his own show. "Tim Gunn’s Guide to Style" will help the fashion-challenged solve their style dilemmas. There’s no word yet on a premiere date.

Don’t you think that Bravo gave him his own show as a condition for him to return to Project Runway??? Not that I am complaining!

Tim Gunn gets a new job.
February 19th, 2007 under Project Runway. [ Comments: none ]

THIS explains why style maven Tim Gunn has not yet signed on for the new season of "Project Runway" – he’s been lining up a new job. Expect an announcement today from Liz Claiborne Inc. that Gunn, 53, is joining the firm as chief creative officer, The Post’s Adam Buckman has learned. That means Gunn is leaving Parsons The New School for Design, where he’s been chairman of the fashion design department since 2000 (and with Parsons for 23 years). Sources said his new job, set to start in March, will not prevent him from participating in "Runway" season No. 4.

I think that until we see the press release from Bravo saying he is back for season 4, we can’t believe he is doing the show.

Tim Gunn might’ve left Parsons, but Project Runway hasn’t
February 19th, 2007 under Project Runway. [ Comments: none ]

Tim Gunn is leaving Parsons, but "Project Runway" is not. Parsons The New School of Design at Seventh Avenue and 40th Street will continue as home base for "Runway" when the fourth season kicks off later this year, sources said yesterday. The question of whether Parsons would remain in its "star- ring" role on "Runway" arose following the news that Gunn, the designers’ mentor on the Bravo reality show, has taken a new job at Liz Claiborne Inc., as The Post’s Page Six reported yesterday. Gunn had been chairman of Parsons’ fashion design department. Meanwhile, negotiations between Gunn and The Weinstein Company, which produces "Runway" for Bravo, are continuing. "[The company] is very confident that he’ll be back for the fourth season," officials said.

I guess the rumors that the show was moving to LA were just that.
