Kamala Harris has a lot of firsts next to her name as the first Black, Indian, female Vice President of the United States. Now, she can add one more first to her title.
She is the first VP to have a life-size wax candled made of her for Madame Tussauds New York. Take that Mike Pence, Al Gore, Dan Quayle, and all the other White Men who held that office before her and never became President of the United States.
Back to the wax museum. Today, we got a sneak peek of her wax statue. I hope it looks more like her when it is completed. However, it still looks presidential, as does the one for her boss President Joe Biden. His could be his twin.
A few weeks ago, there were reports that First Dog Major Biden was sent home because he allegedly bit a Secret Service Agent. This morning, his dad, President Joe Biden, clarified what happened on Good Morning America.
“Major did not bite anyone and penetrate the skin,” he said. “You turn the corner, and there are two people you don’t know at all, and he moves to protect.”
That is what a good dog is going to do. That is something that Biden desperately needs since the past administration put a target on his back.
POTUS also explained why the “sweet dog” was sent back to Baltimore. Since First Lady Jill Biden was going to be away for four days, and he was going to be away for two, they thought it was best that the pups went back to Baltimore while the furents were away.
While he was home, the 3-year-old German Shepard had some lessons in White House etiquette from a trainer. This way, he will know who is good and who is a Trump supporter. I joke, I think.
Anyways, Major and his brother Champ are back with their parents at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. Something 85% of the people, who live and work there, are happy about. The other 15% are Trump supporters.
Seriously, I am so happy the dogs are back at home in DC, where they belong with their mommy and daddy.
Just like the river in Chicago, the White House dyes their fountain’s water green for St. Patrick’s Day. Since the President cares more about our happiness than his own, he shared a video of the process it takes to make the water go from blue to green.
It doesn’t take a lot, but it is pretty to watch. Therefore, I had to share it with you.
Too bad there isn’t gold at the end of it because the taxpayers all need some. Well, not all, but you and I do.
It is very important that we get the COVID-19 vaccine so that we can get as close to normal as we can get. However, so many people are still resistant to get it.
The CDC’s Ad Council teamed up with four of the former Presidents and their wives to ask people to get the shot as they did.
If Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter, Bill and Hillary Clinton, George W, and Laura Bush, and Barack and Michelle Obama can get it, then you can too.
Please, if you can get the vaccine, then get it when it is available to you. Too many people have died or suffered the horrible side effects of the virus. How many more people do we have to lose to say enough is enough.
Until we have reached the level of herd immunity, wear a mask, wash your hands, get the shot, social distance, and think of other people besides yourself. Stop being selfish.
When President Biden was elected, one of the things we most looked forward to, is dogs being back in the White House after a four-year hiatus. However, the dog days of summer at 1600 Penn barely lasted a month.
According to CNN, the First Dogs were sent home to Delaware after Major allegedly bit a security office. The article goes on to say that the 3-year-old German Shepard is said to have also shown “agitated behavior on multiple occasions, including jumping, barking, and ‘charging’ at staff and security.”
Major was being a good boy and protecting his dad. Can you blame him? The previous administration and his cult followers have had it out for Biden.
Plus, we don’t know if his aggressive behavior is because the people were roughhousing with him. He is still a puppy, unlike his 13-year-old brother Champ, so he likes to play.
I say bring the canines back because they bring joy to their masters and the people who voted for them. Just get a dog trainer to work with him on his aggression.
Let’s be honest, Major’s alleged attack is less harmful than anything the orange occupant before Biden did. He didn’t get anyone killed with his bark.
UPDATE: Reuters’ Jeff Mason tweeted, “.@PressSec says @POTUS dogs will return to the White House soon, confirms the younger dog caused a minor injury to someone, who was treated at the White House.”
