Meet the new Commander-In-Chief of the White House
December 21st, 2021 under Politics. [ Comments: none ]

There is a new Commander in the White House, and he is a Biden. That is because President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden adopted another German Shepard, and he has already moved in.

Earlier this year, they lost their best friend Champ, and Major has not been adapting to his new surroundings. Because of the latter, POTUS and FLOTUS made a difficult decision. “After consulting with dog trainers, animal behaviorists, and veterinarians, the First Family has decided … it would be safest for Major to live in a quieter environment with family friends,” FLOTUS’s press secretary Michael LaRose said. “This is not in reaction to any new or specific incident, but rather a decision reached after several months of deliberation as a family and discussions with experts.”

I normally hate when people discard animals, but in this case, I understand why they made that heart-wrenching choice.

There is more animal news. According to The New York Times’ Katie Rogers, the Bidens are also getting a cat. Peter Doocy better watch because there is someone who will show him what it really means to be catty.

black-ish lands Michelle Obama as a guest star
December 14th, 2021 under Anthony Anderson, Jenifer Lewis, Politics. [ Comments: none ]

(ABC/Richard Cartwright)

On January 4th, black-ish will air their final season premiere. They want to go out big, so they got a huge star to guest on that episode.

Dre (Anthony Anderson) and Bow (Tracee Ellis Ross) go to a political fundraiser, and they make friends with Michelle Obama. They invite her over for dinner, and she says yes. The couple hopes for a quiet evening of just the three of them, but their family (Jenifer Lewis, Laurence Fishburne, Marsai Martin, and Miles Brown) invites themselves to dinner.

Will the Johnsons make the former First Lady regret her decision? Of course, they will, and that is why we are sad to see this show go!

Dr. Oz is running for Senate which sums up America in 2021
November 30th, 2021 under Politics. [ Comments: 1 ]

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YjJbQQZQcaA

Dr. Oz announced today that he is running for US Senate in Pennsylvania as a conservative Republican. He fits the mold of being a leading QAnon candidate because he has been delving out medical misinformation for years.

He is everything their party stands for now, lies, playing on people’s ignorance, and being a reality star. None of that should make you a good candidate. However, in 2021, that makes you perfect for the conservatives. Isn’t that sad?

Hopefully, his political career will go as well as Caitlyn Jenner’s.

It is not all negative. Oz will not be hosting his show while he runs for office. So he won’t be able to sell his snake oil to his gullible fans who are looking for a quick fix.

Who knew Hillary Clinton is a Duranie?
October 23rd, 2021 under Duran Duran, Politics. [ Comments: none ]

Hillary Clinton and Louise Penny are doing press for their thriller State of Terror, and they got a thrill. The ladies ran into Duran Duran’s Simon Le Bon and John Taylor, who are promoting their album Future Past.

I can tell the First Lady is a fan because she has the same expression on her face as I did when I met them for the first time.

Oh, and you can tell the bandmates are just as excited to meet her. I mean, look at the singer’s face; he can barely contain himself. When it comes to the bassist, he is too cool to show it. That is why we love him.

A U.S. Senator showed up to the Capitol dressed like that

Senator Kyrsten Sinema showed up to Congress yesterday looking more like she is ready to go to a rave as compared to representing the people of Arizona at the U.S. Capitol.

I don’t know what the 45-year-old Green Party candidate turned Democrat was thinking, but it was as big of a mistake as her decision to vote against the infrastructure bill.

On a positive note, at least her hair and mask match the dress. But is that really a positive?
