So I have been a traitor to the US version of The Traitors because it is all “celebrities” who know how to fake it for the camera. However, I heard really good things about the UK version, which just revealed its winner.
Claudia Winkleman has opened the castle doors to an all-star cast who are ready to play the ultimate game of deceit and betrayal. The multi-award-winning hit psychological game format The Traitors, presents a nine-part celebrity version, originally on BBC One and iPlayer. The celebrities will play the ultimate game of detection, backstabbing and trust, in the hope of winning a cash prize up to £100,000 for a charity of their choice.
Now that the season is over, Peacock can stream it here in the States, so that is what they will be doing on November 20th.
The Traitors and Faithfuls are:
· Alan Carr (Comedian)
· Cat Burns (Singer/Songwriter)
· Celia Imrie (Actor)
· Charlotte Church (Singer/Activist)
· Clare Balding (Broadcaster and Author)
· David Olusoga (Historian and Filmmaker)
· Joe Marler (Former England Rugby Player and Podcaster)
· Joe Wilkinson (Comedian)
· Jonathan Ross (Presenter)
· Kate Garraway (Broadcaster)
· Lucy Beaumont (Comedian)
· Mark Bonnar (Actor)
· Nick Mohammed (Actor and Comedian)
· Niko Omilana (Content Creator)
· Paloma Faith (Singer/Songwriter and Actor)
· Ruth Codd (Actor)
· Stephen Fry (Actor, Writer, Presenter)
· Tameka Empson (Actor and Comedian)
· Tom Daley (Olympian, Author, Broadcaster and Entrepreneur)
Today, Peacock announced who will be competing on the fourth season of The Traitors, and they have reached the point where it is more about stunt casting and faking it than the competition itself.
The contestants participating in Season 4 are:
· Candiace Dillard Bassett (The Real Housewives of Potomac)
· Caroline Stanbury (The Real Housewives of Dubai)
· Colton Underwood (The Bachelor)
· Donna Kelce (“Mama” Kelce)
· Dorinda Medley (The Real Housewives of New York City)
· Eric Nam (Singer-Songwriter)
· Ian Terry (Big Brother)
· Johnny Weir (Olympic Figure Skater)
· Kristen Kish (Host, Top Chef)
· Rob Cesternino (Survivor)
· Lisa Rinna (The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills)
· Mark Ballas (Dancing with the Stars)
· Maura Higgins (Love Island USA Aftersun)
· Michael Rapaport (Actor)
· Monét X Change (RuPaul’s Drag Race)
· Natalie Anderson (Survivor)
· Porsha Williams (The Real Housewives of Atlanta)
· Rob Rausch (Love Island USA)
· Ron Funches (Comedian)
· Stephen Colletti (One Tree Hill)
· Tara Lipinski (Olympic Figure Skater)
· Tiffany Mitchell (Big Brother)
· Yamil “Yam Yam” Arocho (Survivor)
Casting people like Lisa Rinna, Porsha Williams, Tara Lipinski, and Johnny Weir, who do all the reality shows, proves to me that they have lost their way, especially with all of those Real Housewives. I wish they did the show with civilians and not celebrities.
However, I hope that Ron Funches is one of the traitors because he will giggle every time they accuse him of being one.
Peacock has decided not to go on a second date with Laid. You can’t blame the streamer because the premise of the show is that all of Ruby’s boyfriends have died. So they are just trying to stay alive.
And the producers are trying to keep the show alive, so they are shopping it around, according to Deadline. I doubt it will be saved, just like all of the boys that slept with Ruby.
House of Villains got a new address. It is moving from E! Entertainment to Peacock for season 3.
Today, the reality competition show, which brings the worst of the genre together to compete under one roof to see who is the worst of the worst, announced who is this season’s worst. That is a lot of worsts.
Who is not the worst? Joel McHale is still hosting. But what is the worst? They are bringing back over-the-top Tiffany Pollard, who fakes it for the camera. It was good television for season 1, but 2 not so much, and 3 will be a disaster.
Who else will be living in the villainous house besides New York? To see, then click here!
Peacock has had a lot of success with Reality thanks to The Traitors, and now that series will not be alone.
Today, the streaming service announced that it stole House of Villains from E!, and it will be adding several other shows in the genre. Those shows are: Tiffany Haddish Goes Off, Nelly & Ashanti: We Belong Together, a third season of House of Villains, along with documentaries Gilgo Beach Killer: The House of Secrets, The Idaho Student Murders. and Epic Ride: The Story of Universal Theme Parks.
If you don’t already have a Peacock subscription, now is the perfect time to get one.
