Macca and Jagger seeing red
July 11th, 2006 under Paul McCartney/Heather Mills, Rolling Stones. [ Comments: none ]

As two of the most famous rock stars on earth, Sir Paul McCartney and Sir Mick Jagger have enjoyed a friendly rivalry that has endured since the 1960s.
From the music they played, to the clothes they wore, The Beatles and The Rolling Stones always made every effort to stand apart from each other.
But in an attempt to defy the ravages of times the Stones frontman has obviously decided that, for once, imitation is by far the best option.
First Sir Paul inexplicably started dying his hair red. Now Sir Mick has decided the curious new shade of auburn looks great on him too.
Intriguingly, for both men their new hair colour has coincided with them having much younger partners who have badgered them into overhauling their ageing image.
With Sir Paul, the red hair coincided with him starting to wear cool trainers, and fashionable jumpers designed for much younger men. Most importantly, is also coincided with him first starting to date Heather Mills.
With Sir Mick, the very same looks to be happening.
In identical fashion, he is letting his younger girlfriend, L’Wren Scott – who is a model and stylist – dictate his appearance.
First came the trainers, then the cool tops – and now, rather amusingly, she looks to have been playing around with his hair colour
Jagger, who is 63, showed off his new locks as the band launched the European leg of their A Bigger Bang tour in Milan last night.

Sir Paul McCartney’s first guitar is going up for sale later this month. The Rex acoustic guitar is expected to fetch more than £100,000 at Cooper Owen’s Music Legends auction at Abbey Road Studios in London on 28 July.Sir Paul learned his first chords on the instrument, which was owned by his best school friend in Liverpool, Ian James.Mr James, 64, who lives in Ormskirk, Lancashire, is selling the guitar to help fund his retirement. The instrument is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from the former Beatle which says: "The above guitar belonging to my old school pal Ian James was the first guitar I ever held. "It was also the guitar on which I learned my first chords in his house at 43 Elswich Street, Liverpool 8." Sir Paul mentioned Mr James in "The Beatles", a biography by Hunter Davies. In the book, he described playing the guitar for a 16-year-old John Lennon at a fete in St Peter’s Church Hall in Woolton, Liverpool, in July 1957.Lennon was playing there with his band, The Quarrymen, and McCartney played some songs for them – convincing Lennon to let him join the band.McCartney said: "I showed him a few more chords he didn’t know."Ian James had taught me them, really. Then I left. I felt I’d made a good impression, shown them how good I was."Mr James, 64, is a retired father-of-three living in Ormskirk, Lancashire. He is selling the guitar to help fund his retirement. The lot also contains a photo taken by Sir Paul of a young Mr James playing the guitar in 1957 and a photo of the former Beatle playing the guitar in his office earlier this year.

More proof that Heather Mills is a bitch
July 9th, 2006 under Paul McCartney/Heather Mills. [ Comments: none ]

Sir Paul McCartney has been left in “utter shock” after estranged wife Heather Mills played him a tape recording of an explosive conversation between him and his daughter Stella. The bugged tape recording is said to feature fashion designer Stella – Paul’s daughter with his late wife Linda – heavily criticising Heather, telling the former Beatle that she believed claims the former model once worked as a prostitute, even though she has consistently denied the allegations.
Stella is also said to have made “scathing remarks” about Heather’s charity campaigning and accused her of consistently lying about her past prior to her marriage to McCartney in 2003.According to the Sunday Mirror, Heather made Sir Paul sit through a recording of the phone conversation, which she said had been passed to her by a third party – although the practise is a criminal offence – and is thought to have been recorded in the last couple of weeks.A friend of the musician tells the paper, “Nobody on Paul’s side has any idea how these tapes have fallen into Heather’s hands."But Paul is absolutely furious at the leak. He can’t believe private phone calls of his have been bugged."It is a massive breach of security for him – and it makes him feel completely ill at ease."Reports that Stella was resentful towards Heather – who is only three years her senior at 38 – have circulated ever since the beginning of her relationship with Sir Paul, allegations which now seem to have been definitively proved if the article is accurate. The tape could also have serious repercussions on the couple’s upcoming divorce proceedings, following reports last weekend Heather was prepared to eschew a possible claim of up to £200 million of Sir Paul’s fortune in favour of a £10 million ‘quickie’ settlement.

Heather Mills is such a bitch even her leg wanted to get away from her.
