Paul McCartney and Heather Mills taking it to the unfriendly skies
August 16th, 2006 under Paul McCartney/Heather Mills. [ Comments: none ]

Sir Paul, who has been caring for his daughter for the past week, sent her with a nanny to the hotel shortly before midday.Thirty minutes later, the handover took place and mother and daughter were then flown to Heathrow by helicopter.A source said: "Paul made it very clear he didn’t want her at the main house for the handover. Heather wasn’t angry or upset. She just shrugged her shoulders and said ‘If he wants to play it that way, then let him.’"She thinks the whole matter could be handled a lot more discreetly for Bea’s sake. But she didn’t want to have a big row over it so she let him have his own way."Three hours later, both parents were at Heathrow to fly to the US. But they avoided each other and flew from different terminals. It is a fresh sign the McCartneys’ break-up is descending into a very messy divorce. The former Beatle boarded a flight for New York, where he plans to spend part of the summer. His estranged wife was on her way for a break in Los Angeles. But while Paul smiled for photographers as he headed for his holiday home in The Hamptons, Heather looked glum as she caught her Virgin flight to Los Angeles.

I hope I don’t see her while she is here.

Heather Mills says Paul was a controlling husband.
August 14th, 2006 under Paul McCartney/Heather Mills. [ Comments: none ]

The increasingly bitter battle between Heather Mills and Sir Paul McCartney has hit the courts after she launched an angry counter-claim to his divorce petition.Miss Mills, 38, submitted her petition at the High Court on Monday and friends said it was likely to focus on how the former Beatle was a ‘controlling husband’ who ‘always put his own interests above hers’.She was responding to his divorce petition which said she was ‘argumentative’ and ‘rude to staff’.Her vigorous response to his criticisms, which were submitted by her new lawyer Anthony Julius, who represented Princess Diana in her divorce from Prince Charles, will take the animosity between the couple to new depths. As well as lining up friends to show how she was forced to submit to all her husband’s demands, Miss Mills has also hired lawyers in America to refute his claims about her behaviour there.’In recent weeks everyone has been able to see how controlling he is by the way he has locked her out of the marital home and written legal letters about her borrowing cleaning fluids,’ said a source close to the former model.’Heather had to put up with that sort of control freak behaviour throughout the marriage.’She also had to put up with the fact that he would change his plans at a whim and expect her to drop everything to be with him. He did not care that she also had work to do.’As far as Heather is concerned, she did not start this. Paul put in a divorce petition which shocked her and now she feels wound up and angry.’

I love how she says we can see that he is controllong because of his recent actions, but it shows what a bitch she is by taking a million from their bank account, using his helicopter and who knows what else. She just can’t up a winner.

Paul McCartney’s dollar amount to get rid of Heather Mills?
August 14th, 2006 under Paul McCartney/Heather Mills. [ Comments: none ]

HOW MUCH is it worth to Paul McCartney to be rid of Heather Mills?About $95 million (as of yesterday’s currency exchange rates). That’s what a fed-up McCartney told aides last week, according to Britain’s News of the World."If it was up to Paul he’d settle this matter now," said an insider. "If Heather turned around and said, ‘I’d accept 50 million pounds and go away quietly’ then Paul would go, ‘Yeah, I’ll write the check out now to get it all over and done with.’"This divorce has now turned into World War III and it’s hit Paul really hard. He really doesn’t want the hassle of a court battle."What about Heather?"Heather has a lot to lose if they do fight it out in public," said the double-agent source. "But with a nice big settlement and an amicable split she can afford to say to the public, ‘I don’t care what you think!’ "So will the woman Paul branded a "golddigger" take the money and run?News of the World sources say it’s unlikely as she wants more – as much as 200 million pounds (or close to $400 million). If accurate, that would make Paul right.

Just remember she said she would give most of the money to charity, so is this enough for her?

Heather Mills will no longer be a lady
August 12th, 2006 under Paul McCartney/Heather Mills. [ Comments: none ]

Heather Mills has caved in to pressure to relinquish her ‘Lady’ title and will revert to her maiden name after her divorce from Sir Paul McCartney is finalised. The decision is believed to be the first victory for Fiona Shackleton, Sir Paul’s lawyer, who famously won the concession from Princess Diana that she would drop her HRH title during her divorce from Prince Charles.Ms Mills, 38, told associates on Friday that she will give up any right to be called Lady McCartney because she views the title as ‘irrelevant’. A source close to her said: "She doesn’t need a title to bolster her ego. The title does not matter to her. It’s completely irrelevant to her life." The decision is the latest development in the increasingly acrimonious divorce battle between the pair. Ms Mills is believed to be seeking as much as £200million from her husband’s £800million fortune.

I wonder if by her giving up on the Lady title so easily, it means she will fight hard for something else. You know like his money or custody of Bea?

Heather Mills literally breaking Paul McCartney’s heart
August 11th, 2006 under Paul McCartney/Heather Mills. [ Comments: none ]

Sir Paul McCartney was at the centre of a health scare last night after he visited a top Harley Street doctor for a series of tests, including a heart check. The visit fuelled speculation that his divorce with estranged wife Heather is taking its toll on his health. The 64-year-old is said to be distressed about the effect the fall-out with Heather may have on their baby daughter Beatrice. It prompted fears he was suffering heart problems. Onlookers told the Daily Star Sir Paul looked ‘dreadful’ as he emerged from his chauffer-driven car. "I didn’t recognise him at first. He didn’t look like Paul McCartney – just an old man," said one. His face looked very grey and drawn and his hair had patches of grey as well – he’s obviously stopped using the dye. I couldn’t believe how rough he looked." A health centre source said he was given the all-clear following a blood pressure and heart rate check.
