Evil is coming, and it is going to Paramount+
May 17th, 2021 under Paramount+. [ Comments: none ]

If you are like me, then you have eagerly been awaiting season two of Evil. The good news is that it is close. The bad news is that it is going to Paramount+, so we will have to wait a little longer for a premiere date. But we will be getting one, according to Variety.

Personally, I think it is better suited for the streaming service. I hope they release it all at once, so we can binge it. Evil is the type of show that is better than to binge than wait a whole week for the next episode.

If you missed out on the first season and you like smart horror, then binge it on Paramount+ now. I promise you won’t be disappointed.

Behind the Music is back on July 29th
May 17th, 2021 under Busta Rhymes, Huey Lewis, J-Lo, Paramount+, Ricky Martin. [ Comments: none ]

Remember when VH1 used to air Behind the Music, and we learned the scandalous life stories of musicians we knew and didn’t know about? Well, it is back on July 29th, and it is available exclusively on Paramount+.

The artists they are focusing on for season 1 are Jennifer Lopez, LL Cool J, Ricky Martin, Huey Lewis, Busta Rhymes, and Fat Joe.

Who do you want them to go behind the music with for the second season because you know there is going to be one? I also want follow-ups on celebrities they did the first time, like Leif Garret.

The Real World is back and with the original cast
February 12th, 2021 under Paramount+. [ Comments: none ]

Back in 1992, MTV changed television forever with The Real World. Seven strangers moved into an apartment together, and we got to watch their every move. With that, reality television was born, and TV has never been the same.

On March 4th, Becky Blasband, Andre Comeau, Heather B. Gardner, Julie Gentry, Norman Korpi, Eric Nies, and Kevin Powell will move back in with each other. How have they changed? Do they still get along? Can they live in the same place again? What happens when they stop being polite…and start getting real? We will have to tune into Paramount+ to find out. And we are so going to want to find out.

Seriously, whoever said let’s get the OGs together, they deserve a raise. This is a brilliant idea. I would rather see them on the show’s new home than a group of strangers. At least for the first one.

Are you going to watch it?

Cops is cancelled because of bad boys
June 9th, 2020 under Paramount+. [ Comments: none ]

After 32 seasons and three networks, Paramount Network has decided to pull the plug on Cops. A rep for the network told Variety, “‘Cops’ is not on the Paramount Network and we don’t have any current or future plans for it to return.”

The trade says the decision comes due to everything that been going on since the murder of George Floyd. People don’t want to watch Cops now.

Cops and The Simpsons both debuted on Fox the same year. Who knew 1989 was a good year for television?

At least if Lady Gaga and Glenn Close lost, they lost to a great speech
February 24th, 2019 under Lady Gaga, Oscars, Paramount+. [ Comments: none ]

I will be honest with you, I have not seen any of the films nominated for the Oscars tonight (I tried a few and got bored). Therefore, I don’t know who deserved it and who did not.

I was under the impression, like most, that Glenn Close was going to win Best Actress. If not her, then Lady Gaga. Well, they both lost. Olivia Colman won for The Favourite. Even though she was not the favorite to win, her speech was the winner of the night. It was worth her winning just for that.

BTW Lady Gaga’s speech for winning Best Song was not that Shallow. I was crying with her as we watched as A Star Was Born This Way!
