Kim Manners, who was a director and producer on both Supernatural and X-Files, passed away yesterday from cancer.
Supernatural creator, Eric Kripke released this statement about the well-liked, brilliant director.
Everyone at 'Supernatural' is walking around in a daze, shocked and absolutely devastated. Kim was a brilliant director; more than that, he was a mentor and friend. He was one of the patriarchs of the family, and we miss him desperately. He gave so much to 'Supernatural,' and everything we do on the show, now and forever, is in memory of him.
His work will live on in syndication with the amazing work he did on both shows and in our memories. My prayers go out to his family and all those who work on Supernatural.
Ricardo Montalban passed away today at the age of 88. Whether you remember him from his movie musical days or as Mr Roarke on Fantasy Island or as Khan in Star Trek 2 he will live on in those movies and in our hearts for those roles.

Eartha Kitt passed away today at the age of 81 from colon cancer according to AP. Although Eartha was an amazing singer and performer, she will be best known for her purr that she purrfected by playing Catwoman in Batman. She might have been 81, but she looked half her age and now she is Santa’s Baby in heaven.
Paul Benedict best known as Mr Bentley on The Jeffersons passed away on Monday at the age of 70.
I was trying to find a video of him walking on George Jefferson’s back for this post, but I was not able to find it online. It was scenes like that, that will always keep a place in our heart for him.
Sadly the search for Jennifer Hudson’s nephew is over because 7 year old Julian King’s body was found this morning in the car that the Amber Alert was out on according to the Chicago Tribune. I cannot go in to details about his death because the story horrifies me.
I cannot understand how someone can murder a 7 year old like that. It is times like this that I believe in the death penalty because no child should have their lives snuffed out like that.
