Don’t want to wait until Monday to see Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip? |

AOL Television has a special sneak peek of Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip’s pilot on their site. If you are like me and do not want to wait until Monday at 10p to watch this show, you can do so here.
Here is a little information about one of the most talked about shows of the fall season: On some TV shows, the best moments happen off camera. That’s the idea of ‘Studio 60.’ Writer Aaron Sorkin (’The West Wing’) offers this crackling take on the drama behind the humor of producing a late-night comedy sketch show. The writing is inspired, the casting is ingenious (Matthew Perry, Bradley Whitford, Amanda Peet, D.L. Hughley and Steven Weber) and the acting is brilliant.
I so love Steven Weber, so after I post this I am going to watch the show!

Question: Anything on Law & Order: Criminal Intent? — Jenny
Ausiello: Only that it’s allegedly the latest NBC drama series to see its episode order shaved back from 22 to 18.
Ask Ausiello
Whenever a show’s order is cut like that, it means the show will not coming back the following season. Don’t forget The OC also had their order cut down to 16 this year.

After already reshuffling about one half of its originally announced fall 2006 primetime schedule, NBC is making two more changes. The Peacock net will flip new Wednesday 8-9 p.m. comedies 20 Good Years and 30 Rock, with 30 Rock now opening the evening followed by 20 Good Years at 8:30 p.m. Both half-hours were originally scheduled Wednesday at 9 p.m. leading out of The Biggest Loser (which will remain at 9 p.m.). In addition, the debut date for 20 Good Years has been pushed back from Oct. 4 to Oct. 11.

Jane Krakowski takes Rachel Dratch’s lead on 30 Rock? |
| August 16th, 2006 under NBC. [ Comments: none ]

Ah, just one more reason I worship the ground Tina Fey walks on: The ex-SNL scribe/anchor/star has tapped the inimitable Jane Krakowski to join the cast of 30 Rock for at least 10 of the first 13 episodes, sources say. This marks a most welcome return to full-time series TV for the former Ally McBeal sidekick, who, since the show’s death in 2002, has kept busy with numerous MOWs as well as a Tony-winning gig in the Broadway revival of Nine. I’m still trying to nail down the specifics of Krakowski’s role, but given the announcement on Monday that costar Rachel Dratch would no longer be playing one of the stars of Rock’s sketch-show-within-a-show, "The Girlie Show," it’s possible she’s being brought in to fill that void. Then again, maybe not. As Variety reported earlier this week, Rock is moving away from the "Girlie" aspect and more toward the interaction between Fey, Alec Baldwin and Tracy Morgan. I personally don’t care what she’s playing. It’s just good to have her back.
Ausiello Report
For some reason I was all hot on this show, but now I am kind over it.

Rachel Dratch’s new roles on 30 Rock |

Rachel Dratch no longer has a role on the upcoming NBC laffer "30 Rock." Instead, she’ll have many, many roles.Dratch was originally tapped to play Jenna DeCarlo, an actress on "The Girlie Show" — the show-within-a-show on "30 Rock."But with the focus of "30 Rock" moving away from "The Girlie Show" and more toward the interaction among stars Tina Fey, Alec Baldwin and Tracy Morgan, the show’s exec producers decided to scrap Dratch’s character.Instead, Dratch will appear in several episodes in a wide variety of roles. In the "30 Rock" opener, for example, she’ll now appear as a cat wrangler (whose felines are needed for a sketch)."Both Tina and I obviously adore Rachel, and we wanted to find a way in which we could go to her strength," said "SNL" creator Lorne Michaels, who is also an exec producer on "30 Rock." "The way it’s been rewritten, it’s a much funnier part."Michaels said some of Dratch’s characters, such as the cat wrangler, will return, while others will appear just once.
Variety
I never got her and actually find her annoying and sounds like I am not the only one. Bet you Tina Fey and Lorne Michaels felt bad that she left SNL for the show and she didn’t test well as herself, so they created multiple roles to keep her. Loyality is a good thing if you can find it in this town.
