The verdict is in, I love Harry’s Law
January 17th, 2011 under Kathy Bates, NBC. [ Comments: 7 ]

If you are like me missing a David E Kelley show on TV like Picket Fences and Boston Legal, then Harry’s Law on NBC tonight at 10p is the show for you. Kathy Bates plays a tough lawyer who gets fired from her job and decides to go out on her own. In between doing that, she gets hit on the head by a guy who jumped off a building to kill himself…thus saving him and eventually she will be defending him. But that isn’t the worst part of her day as she is crossing the street to what she thinks will be the perfect office space for her she gets hit by a car driven by a lawyer (Studio 60’s Nate Corddry) she once argued against in court. He is wanting a change, so he decides he wants to work for her. The final person in this mix is Brittany Snow who plays her assistant and seizes the opportunity to sell shoes in the former shoe store that Harry takes over. Sounds quirky enough in a David E Kelley way, well it is just that?
Did I mention that Harry’s new office is in a section that is necessarily the best, so they will find themselves defending people that most lawyers would not want to take on unless it is a state mandated. Because of that there are a lot of touching moments in the show and that is why I love love love this show. That and it really has the feel of the David E Kelley shows I have been missing. So if you are like me then add Harry’s Law to your TV viewing tonight and every Monday on NBC at 10p!!!

It’s criminal Skeet Ulrich was fired from Law & Order: LA
January 12th, 2011 under Dick Wolf, NBC, Skeet Ulrich. [ Comments: 23 ]

If you are like me then you forgot that there is a Law & Order: Los Angeles on NBC’s air. Well the network is making some changes to get people to watch the show againand I don’t agree with them. The Hollywood Reporter says that they got rid of three actors including Jericho’s Skeet Ulrich. The other two are Regina King and Megan Boone. I personally found the show extremely boring which is why I opted not to watch it, but had I chosen to keep it up the only reason to I would have watched would’ve been for Skeet.
I still think NBC made a mistake not going for a record with Law & Order: The Mothership in order to replace it with LOLA just because they were rumored to the nickname they gave the show. But what do I know, I just watch a sh!tload of TV???

Get caught in The Cape!!!
January 10th, 2011 under NBC. [ Comments: none ]

Tonight on NBC at 9p The Cape airs at its regularly scheduled time and you don’t want to miss this two-hour encore. I normally am not into comic book like shows, but I really liked The Cape. The show is about Vince Faraday an honest cop who is framed for a crime he didn’t commit. One night while being chased by cops, as television new copters hover above, an explosion happens it seems that he is killed. His family believes he is dead, and even though they think he is innocent they have to deal with the fact that everyone thinks he is guilty. As much as they want to clear his name, there is one person who wants to do it more and that person is Vince Faraday himself.
Vince was saved by a circus gang and they are teaching this once noble cop to be a superhero. He is basing his persona on his son’s favorite comic book, The Cape. Little by little he becomes the man his son will envy, but will his son ever know it is him? Every week tune in to find out if he will ever return to the family he loves and watch as he fights the bad guys in the meantime in the comic book action drama that everyone can enjoy!

Howie Mandel’s comfort zone?
January 4th, 2011 under NBC. [ Comments: none ]

Howie Mandel Tweeted the above picture and said “I’m just not comfortable here.” I wonder who was more uncomfortable, the animals or America’s Got Talent Judge? I think the animals… Although it looks by the picture that comfort zone might where dogs can poop freely and I am sure that made the Deal or No Deal host very very uncomfortable.
