There is just one Blockbuster left in the world, and it is located in Bend, Oregon. Even though there is one video rental store in existence, people are still interested in the place that gave them so much joy!
Well, the joy might be coming back into our lives. That is because Blockbuster reactivated their site over the weekend. And they posted the message, “We are working on rewinding your movie.”
So are they coming back? We don’t know. But I really hope so.
As much as I love browsing Tubi’s categories every week, it is not the same as doing it at a video store. I miss holding the DVD box in my hand and reading the back to see what the movie was about. There was just something so calming about perusing the aisles to find a film to watch. I want that feeling again.
However, I don’t want the feeling of going to Blockbuster to rent a particular movie and all of the copies were already rented.
I recently watched a movie called Me and Him about a penis controlling the man he is attached to. And I thought to myself, why don’t they make more movies from the perspective of a man’s penis. Well, there is one cumming out on March 24th, and I can’t wait to see Jack March 24th on Amazon.
JACK (Pelayo De Lario) is Charlie’s (Luke Rollason) penis, and he is the brains of the operation, he and Charlie have been friends from birth. When Charlie meets Barbie Le Fleur (Angela Sant’Albano), a Canadian transfer student JACK will do everything in his power to guide his friend in his quest to enchant his dream girl. With the help of an odd group of characters; from an incredibly handsome School therapist to a sex advisor prostitute and a group of hormonal friends Charlie will use his “brain” to get the girl of his dreams.
Life is so serious now, we need something fun like this! So who else is going to be watching it with me?
Once the trailer for Cocaine Bear was a huge success, I knew there were going to be copycats. The Asylum already announced that they are working on Meth Gator, and Wide Eye Releasing released the trailer for Cocaine Shark.
The movie is about a mafia drug lord has unleashed a new, highly addictive stimulant on the streets called HT25, derived from sharks held captive in a secret lab, and which causes monstrous side effects. After an explosion and leak at the lab, an army of mutated, bloodthirsty sharks and other creatures are set loose on the world as a small band of people try to stop the carnage.
The movie is from Mark Polonia, who has given us Amytiville in Space, Sharkula, Noah’s Shark, Virus Shark, Shark Encounters of the Third Kind, Land Shark, Sharkenstein, and Snow Shark, to name a few.
You can watch several of the above on Tubi TV, and you can buy the Cocaine Shark DVD on lucky 7/7.
Cocaine Bear came out in theaters today, so The Asylum announced their take on the movie. Coming this summer is Attack of the Meth Gator.
According to what they tweeted me, we can expect, “We’re pumping the meth into Florida’s fresh water reserves as we speak! 😍”
As someone who has seen alligators in the Everglades, I can’t wait for this film.
That and their versions of popular movies are always better. Films like Snakes on a Train, San Andrea Quake, Geo-Disaster, Abraham Lincoln vs Zombies, and so many more. Plus, their creatures are always hilarious. I think y’all have heard of Sharknado.
If you are looking for something fun to watch, check out their catalog. Most of their movies are available for free on Tubi!
Erick Weber asked, “You can pick only one of these movies [Cocaine Bear or Scream VI] to see, which one you got”
Well, when Cocaine Bear heard about that question, he just had to respond. This is his case to see him over Ghostface, “i’m a bear on cocaine. he’s just a guy with a mask.”
Did he convince you to see him first? I mean, his movie comes out on Friday, and the newest Scream won’t be out until two weeks after that. So you can do both! And as a Horror fan, I must insist that you do! Long live movies where people get killed.
