Just what Christmas needs, another killer Santa!
December 22nd, 2022 under Movies. [ Comments: none ]

I know most people watch cheesy, cheery Christmas movies in December, but not me. I prefer watching horror ones.

Therefore, I am always on the lookout for new ones because I have seen all the other ones. This year we got a few like The Killing Tree, and Christmas, Bloody Christmas.

And it turns out there is one more Santastein. Max Causey (Jared Korotkin) was only six years old when he accidentally burned Santa to a crisp on Christmas Eve. 12 years later, Max attempts to raise Santa from the dead in order to fix his past mistakes and restore the Christmas spirit. But he soon realizes that the creature he has created is a bloodthirsty killer – and it’s headed straight for his friend’s Christmas party!

Take that, Krampus, you ain’t got nothing on a Frankenstein version of Santa Claus.

The trailer for Cocaine Bear has me in stitches!
November 30th, 2022 under Keri Russell, Movies. [ Comments: none ]

For some reason, when they make big-budget Creature Features these days, the people behind the scenes make the film very serious.

However, Universal is taking it back old school and making us laugh with Cocaine Beer. At least, I was cracking up during the trailer for the movie “inspired by true events.”

That’s right, “true events”. Inspired by the 1985 true story of a drug runner’s plane crash, missing cocaine, and the black bear that ate it, this wild dark comedy finds an oddball group of cops, criminals, tourists and teens converging in a Georgia forest where a 500-pound apex predator has ingested a staggering amount of cocaine and gone on a coke-fueled rampage for more blow … and blood.

What more do you need to end the month of February than a bear high on coke? I can’t think of anything better, so set a date for February 24th!

BTW I hope someone like The Asylum does a copycat movie like Pot Bear, a bear going around killing people because he has the munchies.

Peter Pan is getting the Horror treatment
November 1st, 2022 under Jagged Edge Productions, Movies. [ Comments: none ]

What is scarier than the version of Peter Pan that NBC gave us? Jagged Edge Productions, the people who are giving us Winnie-the-Pooh: Blood and Honey announced today that are working on Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare. Which makes you wonder if sweet, little Tinkerbell is going to feed off of blood to get her power back. And how jealous will Captain Hook is not the villain of the story?

M3GAN will make you want to throw out all of your dolls
October 11th, 2022 under Blumhouse, Movies. [ Comments: none ]

Do you still have dolls in your house? You won’t after you watch the trailer for M3GAN. She looks to be the scariest doll since Chucky. Yeah, I said it, Annabelle. Don’t come after me. Please!

Anyways, on January 13th, we are going to meet M3GAN, which is a Model Three Generative Android. She was designed by Gemma (Allison Williams), and she is going to let her recently orphaned niece Cady (Violet McGraw), test her out. Everything seems to be going along like a dream until it turns into a nightmare. M3GAN will do anything to protect Cady, including killing to do it. How many people will die?

That is what we will find out on the first Friday the 13th of 2023. That is if you are brave enough to go see the Horror film…

BTW I want to see them do this with a sex robot, a la the original Electric Dreams. If you have never seen it, then you must watch it on Tubi for free.

Sleep.Walk.Kill is a new take on dream killing
October 10th, 2022 under Movies. [ Comments: none ]

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2jMt8hHwRXY

We have seen horror movies where if you get killed in your nightmares, then you die in real life. However, Sleep.Walk.Kill is changing that up.

People all over the East Coast are killing others while they are sleeping. As in, if you fall asleep, then you become a killer. So you have to stay awake to not only stay alive but also to not kill your loved ones.

Edgar, his ex-wife, and their neighbors have gathered together in the basement, hoping they can protect each other from whatever is making sleepers kill. Can they do it? We will find out on November 4th.

This is another terrorific horror movie being distributed by Terror Films. You can watch their other terrifying films on their YouTube Channel for free.
