Matt Damon has a beef to settle with Jimmy Kimmel and Guillermo, and tonight on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! at 12:05a he is going to settle it. As we all know Jimmy Kimmel ends each show apologizing to Matt Damon because he ran out of time and didn’t have time to have him on as a guest. Then last year Guillermo bumped Matt Damon out his own trailer for the Bourne Ultimatum. Well Matt isn’t going to take it anymore and he is going to show them both who is the boss when Guillermo tries to bump him out of his new movie The Informant. If those clips is any hint what we can expect I can’t wait to see it all play out! Go Guillermo!!!
BTW not only will Matt Damon be a special guest on the show, Kelly Clarkson is performing 2 songs from Hollywood and Highland for the show!
Jimmy Kimmel might not have time for Matt Damon, but the American Cinematheque does. According to Variety the much honored award will be given to the Oscar winner in March and believe it or not this is first lifetime achievement. Who am I kidding? We are all shocked he is getting one, but considering they have already honored Julia Roberts, George Clooney, Nicole Kidman, John Travolta, Nicolas Cage (I attended that one) and Ton Cruise, who is else left Ben Affleck? Actually in all seriousness he deserves the honor because he has done some good movies and he just seems so likable, so good for him. And you know they will get some really good names to come out for him like Ben, his Ocean’s partners-in-crime and his f*cking buddy Sarah Silverman.
BTW since the honor will be airing on ABC, hopefully they will get Jimmy Kimmel to host the night. How freaking awesome would that be???
Matt Damon put on the pounds to play The Informant and the look totally worked for the role. I have to admit I hate hate hate Steven Soderbergh films, but after watching that trailer I actually want to see that movie. Either his character is the smartest oaf in the world or just luckiest. I can’t wait to see who he tells what to when the movie comes out on October 9th.
When I saw that picture of Matt Damon with the kids from ONEXONE, it reminded me of the pictures I saw Ben Affleck with them a few months ago. So when it comes to who looks better with the kids, the answer is they both look cute with them because look how happy all of them look!!!
The ad features Matt Damon with different Americans’ voices – among them Michelle Obama, Cindy McCain and Mayor Bloomberg.
If you’re listening for them, Cindy says: “but there’s still more to do,” Michael says: “Democrats, Republicans, Independents,” and Michelle says: “who are coming together as ONE.”
You know I try to avoid politics on this blog, but this ad for ONE with Matt Damon doing more than ONE voice was too good not to share!
