The Lost finale finds another half hour

Sunday, May 23rd is Lost night on ABC because it will be nothing but the show from 7p-1:05a. Starting at 7p we will get a recap of all the Lost episodes leading up to the finale. Then at 9p the actual finale starts and we will have to wait until around 11:30p to see how The End will end because according to The Live Feed ABC has added an extra half hour to the finale. Once we see the word Lost flash across the screen for one last time, we get a half hour of news before it is time for a special Jimmy Kimmel Live where the cast and crew will talk about the show. If that is not enough, the pilot will re-air the night before.
As excited as I am to get 5 and 1/2 hours of Lost, after last night’s episode I am even more sad to see the show go. Dang this show is such great TV!

Get Lost with Jimmy Kimmel Live after the finale
April 2nd, 2010 under Jimmy Kimmel, Lost. [ Comments: none ]

On May 23rd after we hear that thump and see the word LOST come on the screen for the final time, tune into Jimmy Kimmel Live on ABC where he will be talking to the cast the crew about the show that has made all of them household names and confused the sh!t out of us and them. According to Michael Ausiello they will talk about what the f*ck we just saw in those final 2 hours and maybe explain the ending that we possibly didn’t understand. If the ending is bad, Kimmel can go off on Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse for it. And if it is good he can praise them for it. More details will be announced as we getting closer to The End!
BTW as soon as I saw Ausiello’s posting, I put my request in to go see the show in person. But here is my conundrum…What if I don’t get to see the finale before the taping? Do I still go and have the ending ruined for me after I have invested way so much time and aspirin trying to figure it out. Or do I pray they show us the finale, watch it with a bunch of strangers and then hear the cast and crew talk about it? I don’t know what is more important, knowing how the show ends or hearing them talk about it in person. What to do?
Finally I hope security is tight that night, because I pity the executive producers if they end the show in a Sopranos type way. I would be afraid to see the Lost fan’s reaction to that…

The title for the final Lost episode is…
March 25th, 2010 under Lost. [ Comments: none ]

(starts at 1:50 in)

Lost’s show creators Carlton Cuse and Damon Lidelof revealed the title for the series finale episode that airs on May 23rd on ABC on their Popwatch podcast and it is…The End. Perfect title for what better be a perfect ending for this show. I so can’t wait for this show to End already because I just want to know already WTF is going on. I am so sick of guessing and waiting.
BTW the above clip is from Jimmy Kimmel Live where the two executive producers reveal a Lost Secret, that isn’t that much of a secret.

UPDATE: The title The End, for the final episode is the first thing I actually understood about Lost.

Dang you Lost producers!

So Jimmy Kimmel Live! has been airing Secrets of Lost every week with different cast and crew members from the ABC show. This week’s edition is with the show’s executive producers Carlton Cuse and Damon Lidelof. The secret that they finally let out of the bag will have you using every bad word you know towards them and then some. Let’s just hope they were joking, or… (post fades to black and the words Seriously? OMG! WTF? come on the screen in white as the sound of a solo drum beat is heard.)

BTWF roles: Emile de Ravin in The Beastmaster
March 10th, 2010 under Before They Were Famous, Lost. [ Comments: none ]

Before Emile de Ravin had something evil controlling her on Lost, she had something evil controlling her on The Beastmaster. The 18 year old actress looks the same now as she did when she did that 1999 episode.
