Tonight at 10p is the season finale of Dance Moms on Lifetime and I am so sad to see the season end.
Dance Moms has become the show that everyone enjoys watching, but no one wants to tell anyone that they are watching it. It is a secret shame, but we all need one. Right?
On tonight’s episode the girls go back to Hollywood with Abby Lee Miller and their mom and compete to be the lead in a music video. Only one girl will be the star, and can you guess who it is? It was a good episode because you get to see what other professionals think of the girls and maybe Abby Lee is right and maybe she is wrong. You will have to tune in to find out.
Oh and at the end of the episode, we get the see full music video and even though you think you know who is the star of it, one of the dancers will surprise you with getting the most face time in it. And you know what that made me the happiest for these little girls after watching Dance Moms all season long!
So put on your dancing shows and watch this show dance one last dance for the season!
We live in a world where we can record anything we want at any given time with out phones, iPads and Flips, and there have been some negative consequences for it. Tonight at 9p in the movie Girl Fight on Lifetime we will see one such example.
Haley Macklin is 16 year old teen who like most teens wants to be part of the popular group. Once she is in, she will find out be careful what you ask for. The girls turn on each other as often as they change clothes and when Haley becomes their target she will pay a price that no one deserves. She is attacked by several of her so called friends and they record the whole incident on their cameras in hopes of putting the beating online and becoming famous. After the attack the girls drop Haley off and tell her not to tell anyone. Bruised and bleeding in her hospital bed, she reveals who her attackers are and now she will be attacked over and over again. Now her ex-friends are popular for a different reason and was it really worth it.
I think that all parents should tune in to this telemovie and explain to their kids there is no reason for fighting and that by recording such an incident or any incident like that should never ever be done because it only cause more violence. Don’t get me wrong, I love having pocketsized camcorders where ever I go, I just think we have a responsibility to be careful what we use it for and where we share the contents.
There is a killer killing innocent woman along the I-5 and tonight on Lifetime at 8p John Corbett will Hunt for the I-5 Killer. When Corbett is called in to investigate the brutal rape and shooting of two friends that leaves one of them dead, he makes a promise to Beth the lone survivor that he will catch her friend’s killer. In looking into the crime he learns that there are other cases just like Beth’s and now there is a Serial Killer on the loose. He will spend the next year of his life coming close to that person, but he will always be too late. Finally it is time to catch his killer, but the police agency in that town will work against him. Will he catch this murdered before he kills again. Tune into this suspense thriller to find out.
I asked Lifetime a few weeks ago if Dance Moms is coming back for a second season and the person told me they weren’t sure just yet. I have secretly been loving this show and have been hoping that we would get more of this guilty pleasure.
So imagine how happy I was when I saw the title for this ad on InfoList: “Casting Young Dancers (3-13) and Their Moms – Dance Moms Season 2 on Lifetime Television!”
Well that excitement was short lived because here is what the rest of the ad said:
CASTING YOUNG DANCERS (3-13) & THEIR MOMS
“DANCE MOMS” ON LIFETIME TELEVISON IS SEARCHING NATIONWIDE!
We are searching NATIONWIDE for young DANCERS (3-13) and their MOMS (or dads!) who are serious about competing and winning dance competitions for the new season of the hit TV series DANCE MOMS on Lifetime Television!
Moms (or dads) must be actively involved in helping their child train and prepare for each competition.
It must be a top priority for these families, but doesn’t have to be their only interest. We’re seeking families with strong personalities, talent, passion and the desire to win!
We are also looking for DANCE STUDIOS that have a roster of young dancers who would like to be on the show!
Does that mean Lifetime is renewing the show, but with a whole new cast? Noooooooooooooooo
What makes the show something you don’t want to admit you watch is you secretly enjoy how mean Jabba the Hut like Abby Lee Miller is to the girls and their moms, and how the moms deal with her and their daughters when they say they are in too much pain or too sick to dance.
Why Lifetime if you have something good, would you want to change it up? I want season 2 to be with the all the same people, not new people.
Seriously did you make this decision after you ate Roseanne’s nuts or before???
UPDATE: Lifetime confirmed that Dance Moms will be back with Abby Lee Miller and the Dance Moms with their daughters in 2012. But before we get to the second season, there are two more dance recitals left for these little girls, tomorrow and next Wednesday at 10p on Lifetime.
So whether you have seen the show that no one wants to admit they are watching, or this will be your first dance…put on your dance shoes for the biggest surprise of the summer!!!
Remember when several of the paparazzi darlings had their stuff stolen by a bunch of teenagers? Well tonight at 9p The Bling Ring‘s story is being told on Lifetime and I was surprised by how much I liked this telemovie. I was expecting this to be another cheap, rushed to air movie about a real life story, but instead it was enjoyable movie about a bunch of teens who accidentally get a taste of a good life and get enough of it. So tune into find out the real story behind the story.
