It’s time for a white wedding on Lifetime’s Drop Dead Diva tonight at 9p, and Jane will get something borrowed, something blue, something old and something new.
Tonight’s episode is so shocking that it will shock you several times, once before the first commercial and then again not once but twice right before the show ends. What happens are such a game changers that I can’t wait to see how they will handle it when the show comes back next season. Now I a know I am being extremely vague, but that is because I want you to be surprised by what happens tonight as I was. Because what happens is something you never ever would have seen coming. I know as I sure as hell didn’t. So don’t miss it because you will be so upset if you do because it is that freaking good.
Lifetime released three new pictures from their upcoming telemovie Liz & Dick starring Lindsay Lohan and I can’t believe how much she looks like Elizabeth Taylor when the legendary actress was older. I can still see LLo in the wedding photo and Cleopatra one, but in the first one I only see Liz. It reminds of the time that Dame Elizabeth was on The Nanny. Isn’t it spooky how much the 26 year old looks like Dame Elizabeth when she was a senior citizen?
BTW am I the only one excited for this movie?
Believe it or not, but tonight at 9p Army Wives airs it 100th episode and let me tell you it is incredible one. Roxy gives birth to her twins and one of them is in danger. Gloria and her husband will find out that their family is expanding, but can their marriage handle it? Then the episode will end in such a way that is very topical. I can’t tell you what that means but I can tell you will want to know what happens in episode 101 now.
The trailer for the Lifetime’s remake of Steel Magnolias starring Queen Latifah, Alfre Woodard, Phylicia Rashad, Jill Scott, Adepero Oduye and Condola Rashad is out and I will rewatch the original one instead. It’s like they took all the humor and heart of it. And don’t get me started on the lack of Southern accents, thus why it is called Steel Magnolias. Plus I think that Queen Latifah should’ve played Truvy and Phylicia should’ve been M’Lynn.
Even though I will not be watching, I am sure this remake will find a huge audience.
Courteney Cox goes behind the camera tonight to tell the story of deadly online love triangle in Lifetime’s TalHotBlond. Thomas Montgomery (Garrett Hillahunt) decides to play online poker with some friends, but when a young woman invites him to a private chat his life will change forever. The happily married father of two will find himself falling for the high school student and will have an online affair with her for over a year. He tells her that he is teenage Marine who is going overseas to fight for our country and she decides to send him a care packages. One of those packages will be intercepted by his wife (Laura San Giacomo), who blows his cover and now the teen doesn’t want anything to do with him. TalHotBlond then starts an online affair with one Thomas’ coworkers who is much closer to her age and he can’t have that. He will do the unthinkable to stop the two from meeting. Once the only obstacle is out of his way, he will make a discovery no one will see coming. As interesting as this movie is, I just wish the movie would’ve focused more on the twist then the set up. Don’t get me wrong I was thoroughly engrossed in the movie, but the ending is what makes the real life story so much more shocking that you want to know more about it. So tune in for a movie that makes you wonder who is behind the instant messaging screen. That and to see Hillahunt do a brilliant job in a role that is nothing like the grandfather we watch every week on Raising Hope. He seriously blew me away.
