Before William Katt was The Greatest American Hero and Kurt Russell was the commander in Sky Hight, they were both hoping to go to a galaxy far far away in Star Wars back in 1975. Not knocking Harrison Ford and Mark Hamill, but the two 24-year-olds would have been great as Han Solo and Luke Skywalker. That is if the other two missed their auditions.
Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell have been together for 35 years and counting, and they are still the cutest couple in town. Someone bought them a stereo mic and they used it to sing The Beatles’ I Want to Hold Your Hand. While their singing is far from perfect, their love is pitch perfect.
Who does not want to be with someone that you can sing Karaoke with on the couch and laugh at off key you are? Especially to still find that joy after three decades together. That is why they are my relationship goal!
Before Kurt Russell kicked a$$ as Elvis Pressley in Elvis, he actually kicked the King of Rock’n’Roll in It Happened at the World’s Fair. How cute was the 10-year-old on that 1963 movie?
Russell was on The Graham Norton Show and he told the host what it was like to work on that film. Was he star struck? Listen to his answer below.

Before Kurt Russell was kicking a$$ in Escape from New York, he just kicking Elvis Pressley’s shin in It Happened at the World’s Fair. How awwwdorable was the 10-year-old in that 1963 movie?
Kurt Russell has been acting for over 55 years (since he was a little kid) now and he has played several different roles throughout his long career. He has been the good guy, the bad guy, Elvis Presley, Wyatt Earp and Kurt Russell to name a few and now he is going to play another legendary role for Netflix.
He is going to play a ho, ho, ho, as in Santa Claus in The Christmas Chronicles. Although he is not going to be your typical Saint Nick, he is going to be one that will make his grandkids proud. That is because he will be the coolest Santa since Billy Bob Thornton in the first Bad Santa (let’s never mention the second one).
According to Netflix, it about, “The Christmas Chronicles, a holiday adventure from producer Chris Columbus (“Home Alone”, “Harry Potter”) and director Clay Kaytis (“The Angry Birds Movie”), tells the story of sister and brother, Kate (Darby Camp) and Teddy Pierce (Judah Lewis), whose Christmas Eve plan to catch Santa Claus (Kurt Russell) on camera turns into an unexpected journey that most kids could only dream about. After staking out Santa’s arrival, they sneak into his sleigh, cause it to crash and nearly derail Christmas. As their wild night unfolds, Kate and Teddy work together with Santa – as you’ve never seen him before – and his loyal Elves to save Christmas before it’s too late.” Talking about the elves, how cute are they? I hope Netflix makes dolls of them to give all the nice kids in your life.
Spend Thanksgiving with this Christmas movie that starts streaming on November 22nd.
