Seriously? OMG! WTF?

Valentine’s Day is just over two weeks away, and Krispy Kreme is already celebrating. They teamed up with Hershey’s to release four heart-shaped donuts in honor of the holiday of love!

HERSHEY’S Chocolate Chip Caramel KREME™ Doughnut – an unglazed heart-shaped doughnut filled with KREME™ dipped in HERSHEY’S caramel flavored icing, covered in a semi-sweet chips, heart sprinkles, and HERSHEY’S chocolate icing drizzles.

HERSHEY’S Double Chocolate KISS Doughnut – a heart-shaped doughnut filled with HERSHEY’S milk chocolate filling, dipped in HERSHEY’S chocolate icing, and covered in HERSHEY’S mini milk chocolate KISSES®.

HERSHEY’S Strawberry Dream Doughnut – a heart-shaped doughnut filled with HERSHEY’S strawberry flavored KREME™ dipped in red icing and covered in a white chip and heart sprinkle blend.

HERSHEY’S I Pick You Doughnut – a heart-shaped doughnut filled with KREME™, dipped in HERSHEY’S chocolate icing, and decorated with a buttercream and icing rose.

If you are a Horror movie fanatic like me and love biting into heart-shaped things that ooze, then run to your local Krispy Kreme because they are only available until February 14th.

It is not Halloween quite yet, but that isn’t stopping Krispy Kreme from releasing their four scary doughnuts now.

Spooky Spider Doughnut​: An Original Glazed® Doughnut dipped in chocolate icing and topped with cookie pieces, an icing spider web, and a spider sugar piece. ​

Scaredy Cat Doughnut​: A shell doughnut filled with Kreme™, dipped in purple icing and decorated with green buttercream and chocolate icing, and topped with a cat chocolate piece.

Boo Batter Doughnut​: A shell doughnut filled with delicious cake batter, topped with neon green icing, spooky sugar sprinkles, buttercream and a ghost sugar piece.​

Neon Orange Sprinkle Doughnut​: An Original Glazed doughnut with neon orange icing and topped with a Halloween sprinkle blend. ​

If that is not enough for you to enjoy with your witch’s brew, they also have a chilling drink for the holiday season. The Freaky Frozen Chiller is a mix of green apple and wild grape flavors along with green apple drizzle. That sounds as yummy as eye of newt. What is eye of newt?

It is not about that. So, if you want to try their spooktacular snacks, then you have until October 31st. After that, they will go away until next Halloween.

Tomorrow is National Dog Day, and Krispy Kreme is celebrating the holiday. They are one-upping pup cups and selling Doggie Doughnuts all weekend long, aka until supplies run out.

You can get your puppy a half dozen donut-shaped biscuits that were baked by Huds and Toke just for your best friend. What dog doesn’t deserve a yummy treat? And what is yummier than this? Well, besides pig ears.

So make sure to go early because you are not going to want to miss out on this gift for your pooch. They earned it.

One last note, I was like, why don’t they call them dog nuts? And then I realized that sounds like something your vet gives you after you neuter your doggy. My cat would like those!

Since Oreo and Krispy Kreme started their Pumpkin Spice season early, Dunkin’ Donuts is doing the same.

From August 17th-September 13th, you will be able to order glazed Pumpkin cake donuts, Pumpkin MUNCHKINS® Donut Hole Treats, and Pumpkin muffins, along with Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew, Pumpkin Spice Signature Latte, Blood Orange Dunkin’ Refresher, Nutty Pumpkin Coffee, Maple Sugar Bacon Breakfast Sandwich, and Maple Sugar Snackin’ Bacon.

Now that I think about it, maybe starting the season early isn’t such a bad thing. Hopefully, it will bring the Fall temperature sooner because this heat is killing me!

Krispy Kreme

Remember when Fall started after Labor Day? Well, at Krispy Kreme, Pumpkin Spice, aka Autumn, will be done by then.

Yesterday, the donut shop launched its Pumpkin Spice menu which includes four donuts (one new one) and two new coffee drinks.

Why are they starting the season before most kids are back in school? “Sure, pumpkin spice is generally associated with fall, but true fans of the flavor will agree that August is close enough! So, we’re pulling fall forward, enabling our guests to indulge and enjoy early with delicious pumpkin spice doughnuts and drinks, including our Pumpkin Spice Latte, which you can get iced or frozen, by the way,” said Dave Skena, Global Chief Brand Officer for Krispy Kreme.

If Krispy Kreme debuts its Peppermint menu in September, I will boycott them. Not really, but I will say I will. I will do it because if now they will start celebrating Easter in January, and if the Groundhog hasn’t foreshadowed how many weeks until Spring, we cannot celebrate the season then. That sounded like a gpod excuse, didn’t it?
