9-1-1 started its tenth season off with a volcano in Los Angeles. And the cast had been preparing for it for a while.
How? Anirudh Pisharody, Kenneth Choi, Ryan Guzman, Elijah M. Cooper, Aisha Hinds, and the injured Oliver Stark played The Floor is Lava. And I can’t think of a better way to prepare for actually dealing with the floor being lava. Can you?
Oh, poor Guzman. He should have known better than to trust Choi.

9-1-1 is so hot. How hot is it? It caused a dormant volcano to erupt in Los Angeles during the season premiere.
And that is not the only way the show is showing us it is hot. Corinne Massiah shared a video of her co-stars: Kenneth Choi, Ryan Guzman, Anirudh Pisharody, and Elijah M. Cooper dancing, and I had to call the real Los Angeles Fire Department because my pants are on fire! Magic Mike, better watch out because Channing Tatum doesn’t have anything on those four!

We know 9-1-1 as a first-responder drama, but what if it were a ’90s comedy that aired during TGIF on ABC?
That is what Angela Bassett, Oliver Stark, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Kenneth Choi, Ryan Guzman, Anirudh Pisharody, Elijah M. Cooper, Corinne Massiah, Aisha Hinds, and Tracie Thoms imagined when they shot an opening to the Full House theme song.
And now I want an episode that is like a family sitcom. I am sure they would love to do it also. Seriously, didn’t they all look like they had a lot of fun? Even Bassett went all in! Bob Saget was looking down with pride.
9-1-1 returns to ABC will all new episodes on October 15th. Get ready for a volcano in Los Angeles. I can totally see that happening on a sitcom.

On last week’s episode of 9-1-1, Chimney (Kenneth Choi) and Maddie (Jennifer Love Hewitt) had a gender reveal party with a cake.
During a break from filming the scene, Hewitt told her television husband to look closely at one of the flowers on the pink and blue cake. So, he leaned in and she pushed his head into the cake, leaving him covered in frosting.
He was fine, even his ego wasn’t bruised because they have so much fun on that set! We should all have as much fun as they do when we work.
When it comes to what the Hans are having, the cake was pink on the inside, but they are having a boy. They were given the wrong cake. Whoops!

Working on a television show seems like all glitz, glamour, and craft services. However, there is a lot of downtime with nothing to do.
So what do the actors do? If they are 9-1-1’s Kenneth Choi, Peter Krause, and Ryan Guzman, then they spent that time throwing an ice pack at each other’s firehouses.
By the looks of it, the real 9-1-1 got a call from them because that looks like it hurt a lot.
You can also tell they do this all the time because Aisha Hinds is unfazed by their crazy antics. She is just letting her boys be boys!
You can watch Hinds and those boy on the 9-1-1 two-part event Contagion, which starts tonight at 8p on ABC.
