 Nicole Kidman will have trouble dispelling rumours that she is pregnant after her tummy gave a starring display outside a cinema in Los Angeles. A suspicious-looking bump protruded from underneath her jumper as the 39-year-old actress left the building accompanied by her mother-in-law. When she spotted photographers, she quickly glanced at her belly and rearranged her top to cover it, before giving a wry smile. With behaviour like this, the Kidman baby debate shows no signs of relenting. One thing’s for sure, she has certainly been keeping herself busy recently. She is currently filming The Golden Compass, the adaptation of the first of author Philip Pullman’s Dark Materials trilogy at Shepperton studios. She has been staying in the Dorchester Hotel in Mayfair with husband Keith Urban. Kidman then jetted off to Rome to film a television advert before heading to the US – a hectic schedule for anyone, let alone a pregnant woman. She married Urban in June in Sydney following an 18-month-long romance after meeting him at an Australian awards dinner in Los Angeles in January 2005. She already has two children, Isabella, 13, and Connor, 11, whom she adopted while married to Tom Cruise. Her camp have been forced to deny she is pregnant practically ever since the wedding day, and last month even accused US magazine New Deal of using altered pictures to make the star look like she was expecting. But any more pictures like this and her PR people might soon find they have a more difficult job on their hands.

Sexy thriller Eyes Wide Shut ended Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman’s marriage because the couple’s characters were too close for comfort, according to a new Kidman biography. In his new study, Nicole Kidman, film historian David Thomson claims the former couple held a mirror up to their relationship issues when they signed up for the 1999 Stanley Kubrick film. Thomson says, "I think she learned from him just what was required in taking charge of yourself. That’s what broke them up. "She realized she could be as big as him if she became as strong and self-centered. He wanted a beautiful, bright, obedient consort. She wanted a teacher. It worked. Then it stopped. "I think Eyes Wide Shut was the process that brought it to an end because the characters they played were so close to themselves."
I was lucky enough to see this movie in a theater that served alcohol and it still could not make it tolerable. I always say that Kubrick died after seeing this movie because he was too embarrassed to be alive when it came out.

Nicole Kidman sure looks swell as she pops out for a stroll during a family holiday in Canada yesterday.The Oscar-winning actress has refused to confirm rumours that she is pregnant by new husband Keith Urban, but these pictures show she’s definitely showing a more rounded stomach than normal.Aside from the baby bump, Nicole and Keith’s relationship may also be in for a bumpy ride as whispers in Hollywood claim the two have fallen out over Keith’s ex-girlfriend.Kidman reportedly fumed after she found out country star Urban was still friends with model Niki Taylor."Nicole found a video he shot with Niki. She was mad because he hadn’t thrown it out," an insider said.It is not the first time Miss Kidman has been rumoured to be pregnant since getting together with Urban a year ago.The pair were pictured in December with Urban, 38, gently patting her stomach as they introduced their parents to each other.

 Nicole Kidman has ditched plans to auction off her wedding dress to charity – in favour of giving it to her daughter instead. The actress had planned to raise a lump of cash for a good cause by selling off the dress in which she wed country singer Keith Urban last month to the highest bidder. However, Kidman’s daughter with first husband Tom Cruise, Isabella, 13, has persuaded her mum to have a change of heart after telling her she’d love to wear it for her own wedding day, according to the Daily Mirror.

NICOLE KIDMAN made her debut as a groupie wife on Thursday night (13JUL06), joining new husband KEITH URBAN for the first show on his North American tour. The Oscar-winner’s presence at the Sarnia Bayfest concert in Ontario, Canada, sent the event’s security into overdrive after a local radio station said it would pay $75,000 (GBP42,000) for a shot of the newlyweds kissing. According to Bayfest organiser MICHELE STOKLEY, "We locked down. We were securing the perimetre. People were pretending to be volunteers (to get in)." The country singer sent the 20,000 fans into a frenzy when early in his 90 minute set he said, "I’d like to introduce you to somebody…" The ecstatic fans cheered in anticipation, expecting to see Kidman, but Urban paused and cheekily continued saying, "…my guitar player." Although he didn’t bring Kidman onstage, Urban did dedicate the hit song her performed at his June (06) wedding, MAKING MEMORIES OF US, to "my lovely bride" and told the crowd he was "happy to join the married crowd".
