Katy Perry normally doesn’t mind being photographed by the paps, but yesterday after having a romantic lunch with her husband Russell Brand she hid her face from the cameras. I wonder if it as much her face as her new cotton candy colored hair. A hair color I predicted she was going for when she announced that she was changing her jet black locks to a new mysterious color. Even though I guessed that was the color she was going for, that doesn’t mean I thought it was a good idea because it isn’t.
WireImage Katy Perry attended the premiere for The Smurfs yesterday and Smurfette’s voice wore a dress with the only blue female on it and on her nails were her blue co-stars. I think the California Gurl looks awwwwdorable and I don’t care what anyone says I love her dress. Her hair not so much, but I so want that mini-dress that reveals too much in the back. I also adore that she got Smurfs on her nails, it just goes to show how much her feature debut means to her.
Even though she is voicing someone that is blue, I don’t she will have anything to be blue about when The Smurfs comes out on Friday!
WireImage Katy Perry debuted her new perfume Purr, but that wasn’t the only thing she debuted. The California Gurl showed off a mistake that left her seeing red. Red hair that is.
On June 16th she Tweeted, “tonight I dye my hair a different color… Can you guess which color?!” She then followed it up by Tweeting, “So I didn’t get to the exact color I wanted from being black for so long! 2get to goal I have 2b GINGER for 3WKS #paybackfromGINGERGodsFML!” Then she explained why the wait, “If I don’t wait 3wks, I’ll end up w/no hair or a #pixie90scutw/abarretteinthefront It’s okay, I’ll get to my secret color(s) soon! #patience”
Ever since those Tweets, I have been dying to see what she looked like as a red head, and you know what she looks good as strawberry blonde. Doesn’t the new color work for her?
Too bad it isn’t staying. I guess we will have to wait another week to see what her new look will be? For some reason I think the mystery color is cotton candy pink to go with her theme her Teenage Dream album!
Fifteen year old Keenan Cahill got to have his Teenage Dream come true when he got to sing the song with Katy Perry at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, PA. The two along with one of her cats lip synced her chart top song together with a surprise ending that no one, including, her saw coming. She forgot the lyrics to her own song and was so freaking cute about it. Just like she was with him when she asked if it was OK if he sat on her lap! It was just as sweet as her hat.
And according to what Keenan said about her on his Twitter, she is also as sweet as her hat! Here is what he Tweeted about her, “Nice does not even describe @katyperry nice is like a insult that’s how awesome she is :)” That is nice to hear.
BTW Keenan is having surgery today according to his Twitter, so let’s all pray it goes smoothly for him and that he will have a quick recovery. Send him your wishes to Keenan Cahill’s Twitter. I am sure it will make him just as happy as his videos make us!

Katy Perry and Funny or Die have been teasing her new music video Last Friday Night since last Friday and after watching it I have to say good things come to those who wait! It is a 8 minute music video that pays homage to the awesome party movies of the ’80s and ’90s and who didn’t love those flicks? Along with honoring the films we grew up with, she got some of the biggest names from that era to play some big roles in the video along with some of the biggest names of today from Glee and the music world.
