Julianne Hough and Chuck Wicks are no longer making music together. A source told People, “This was mutual. They needed some time apart.” The two dated for over a year and she stayed on for an extra season on Dancing with the Stars to teach him how to dance like her. No reason was given for the split, but I am wondering if it had anything to do with their 9 year age difference and/or their touring schedules? Or they simply could’ve grown apart like so many couples. I don’t think Julianne will be single for long. Maybe Chace Crawford and her will hook up when they do Footloose together next season?
BTW I didn’t realize until I was going through my pictures that he was on Fox’s very short lived show Nashville.
Julianne Hough is dancing her way to the big screen (or straight-to-DVD) in the cheesy remake of Footloose according to the Hollywood Reporter. Two-time Dancing with the Stars champ is joining Chace Crawford in the roles that were made famous by Lori Singer and Kevin Bacon in the 1984 classic.
Now that Julianne is doing her leading role, she is officially a triple threat by being about to sing, dance and act. Although with Kenny Ortega producing and directing, I don’t have much faith in the movie. His movies give me a cavity and a stomach because they are so sweet and cheesy. Plus I don’t think the movie needs to be redone.
BTW the movie is slated to begin production in March which would mean Julianne won’t be do at least two more seasons of Dancing with the Stars.
Julianne Hough’s debut self-titled CD was #1 on the Billboard Country Charts and #3 on the Billboard 200! Way to go for a little girl who less two years ago was still living in Utah! Since then she has two Dancing with the Star Championship titles and now a #1 album on the Country Charts!!! And a song that is Stuck in My Head!
I have to admit I have been a crap and have not posted a review of her CD on my site yet (which I promise I will get up soon) but all I can say is that I am not a Country music fan but I love this CD. It is stuck in car’s CD player which is a big reason why I haven’t reviewed it yet. I don’t want to take it out of my car just yet! There is a reason why Dancing with the Star champ debuted so high on the charts, the album is as good as she dances!!!

Seriously not only can she dance, she can sing! I can’t wait to get her album when it comes out on May 20th. In sad news looks like she won’t be on the Dancing with the Stars tour this summer or the show next season because she will be touring with Brad Paisley which is good for her.
