In 2008, we fell in love with Shane, Nate and Jason Gray from Connect 3, and since 2010, we have been waiting for them to return to Camp Rock for a third movie. Today, Disney+ made it official that the Jonas Brothers are going back to camp!
All of that screeching you heard today was not cars stopping short or nails on a chalkboard. Instead, it was millennial girls letting everyone know how excited they are for the upcoming telemovie.
The story picks up when Connect 3 lose their opening act for a major reunion tour, returning to their beloved Camp Rock to discover the next big thing. As campers vie for the chance to open for their favorite band, tensions rise and friendships are tested, leading to unexpected alliances, revelations and romances. Camp Rock’s all-new campers include bold and determined Sage (Liamani Segura) and her easygoing brother Desi (Hudson Stone), cello prodigy Rosie (Lumi Pollack), drummer with his own beat Cliff (Casey Trotter), choreo queen Callie (Brooklyn Pitts), intimidating influencer Madison (Ava Jean) and camp bad boy Fletch (Malachi Barton).
You might notice that there is a name missing from the description, and that name is Demi Lovato, who recently joined the brothers on stage in concert. All the press release says about her is that she is an executive producer of the movie. But you know she will be back because you can’t have a Camp Rock movie without her. She really has to be part of it.
Camp Rock 3 started filming in Vancouver this week.
It is not even October, and Disney+ is already getting into the Christmas spirit. So today, they released the first look for the Jonas Brothers’ holiday film.
In A Very Jonas Christmas Movie, Kevin, Joe, and Nick Jonas face a series of escalating obstacles as they struggle to make it from London to New York in time to spend Christmas with their families.
I have a feeling this telemovie is going to be an annual must-watch, so be sure to watch it for the first time on November 14th.
Before there was the Jonas Brothers, there was Hanson. You can say the three Hanson boys opened the door for the trio. Therefore, the newer ones should have respect for those who walked before them. And they do.
So much so that over the weekend, Kevin, Joe, and Nick brought out Isaac, Taylor, and Zac to sing MMMBop and That’s Just the Way We Roll with them in Virginia Beach.
With that, two generations of fans were MMMBopping like crazy because that’s just the way they roll.
And let’s talk about the trios with catchy tunes for a second. If you think about it, they are a lot alike. Kevin and Isaac are, no offense, the forgotten ones, because that is what happens when you are the oldest brothers. Taylor and Joe are the sexy middle ones. And Nick and Zac are the cute babies. Right? Right!
Do you know what would be the right thing to do? When the JoBros are done with JONAS20, they should go on tour with the HanBros! I would go see JoSon, or would it be HanNas? HanNas sounds better. What a girl gotta do to make that happen?
Now, you know what sounds really cool? Listening to Hanson dueting with Jonas to That’s Just the Way We Roll, the single that mentions their band’s name. To hear it, then click here!
The Jonas Brothers played their home state of New Jersey yesterday, and it was a real treat for Kevin, Joe, and Nick.
And the bros had a treat for their fans. They brought out Demi Lovato to sing This Is Me and Wouldn’t Change A Thing from their movie, Camp Rock.
Even though it has been 17 years since their telemovie premiered on Disney, the audience knew every word. But then again, they have been singing those songs ever since they saw the film for the first time, and they have seen it over 100 times since then.
It is as much a part of them as it is for its stars! That is the reason that they’re singin’!
Does this on-stage reunion mean we are going to get one on the small screen? We will just have to wait until they announce Camp Rock 3. Hopefully, Disney will give the fans what they want!!!
